Took my Vanquish 540 last week on holiday in Cleethorpes Humberston Fitties. Great holiday chalet, with huge garden backing onto dunes. Weather was brilliant. Only found usual bottle caps and rubbish on Fitties beaches, opposite sea fort. Interesting to see Cleethorpes and its beach. Appeared a bit run down however. Fields around me at home are under grass crops, ie wheat or barley and some oil seed rape.. Just waiting for harvest and permission. So only beaches for now.

Does that shaft do anything for the vanquish? My biggest problem with the vanquish is that heavy 12 inch coil . It wears my shoulder out . Does that shaft help in anyway with that or is for looks ?

i wont change the overall weight by a huge amount but it is a few gramms lighter, maybe look at the Detecting Innovations easy swing bungee to help relive the weight they are not expensive

Ciao..Paul. una domanda...perché il mio vanquish 540. E sensibile a gli urti? Per esempio se con la piastra urto delicatamente un sasso o una radice si spenge....da cosa dipende? Forse le batterie

ciao... sì, c'è stato un problema iniziale con il coperchio della batteria che minelab è stato sostituito in garanzia, in caso contrario un piccolo pezzo di carta piegato renderà più sicuro, o se dopo un sistema di batterie migliore, RNB INNOVATIONS è molto meglio e dura 30 ore per carica
