UK field metal detecting 2023 - Minelab Equinox 800 - part 5
A compilation of my metal detecting, treasure finds in the UK. I continue my metal detecting and continue to find coins. It was so cool and exciting to get my first 2 proper permissions. All pasture fields and already quite a few coins found, mostly Victorian or later. All found using my Minelab Equinnox 800 metal detector, with the standard 11 inch or 15 inch coil and my Root slayer spade. This time I changed my settings to Field 1, 2 tone, 20hz and BOOM, my first hammered coin came in. An Elizabeth I, Two pence or Half Groat, from around late 1500s. Brilliant!!
