It is amazing how roads have changed over the years. I have two apple trees on my property. You might find some cool bottles there. Love the old pictures so cool you have them. Thanks for sharing.
I just love your videos !! Somthing about your place reminds me of all my summers spent in Northern Michigan, as a kid , from the bunk house to the outhouse ....so much fun !! Thank you for the videos ❤
Those older items in the end looked like an old brass gas filter with glass. The other item with a hand crank might’ve been an old hand pump that fit down a gas can.Love the old photos!!
.Places that were inhabited many years ago are special to search with the detector. You can find very old and interesting things but also uninteresting objects. The mere fact of feeling the emotion of searching in those places allows you to rest your mind from the usual and routine. BLESSINGS TO MY DEAR FRIEND.💖💖🌺🌺🙏🏼🙏🏼
Looked like part of an old gun barrel with sight on the end. There was also white marble in the dirt i think. The other metal piece with a rounded edge looks like it was part of a wood planer.Interesting stuff!!
@7:14 is a engine oiler. Google images show them if you google antique engine oiler. I think the thing with the crank handle is for seating engine valves. I have one that was my grandfathers. Ford model T hub cap too.
The brass and glass item is a drip oiler. They were used to lubricate the cylinder and wrist pin of hit and miss engines. The flipper at the top, once positioned upright like in your video, would activate it. Flipping it down stops the oil drips. The grooved nut under the flipper adjusts how fast the oil would drip. I still use these for my hit and miss engines I collect and rebuild to running condition. They're worth between $50-$100 generally. The one you have is in fairly good condition. They look amazing cleaned up and polished.
@dirtclodmetaldetecting One of my personal favorite hit and miss engines would be the Hercules or Economy brands. The Economy brand was made by Hercules for Sears and Roebuck. Other iconic brands were Rock Island, Waterloo, Fuller and Johnson, Sparta, Sandwich, Lauson, and John Deere. There's many videos on RU-vid of these old engines.
Interesting items you and your mom have found. There is a 3 seater outhouse attached to the coal shed at my Spinning House permission. Sorry I missed your premiere. Resting after medical procedure
2:40 Looks like part of a window lock mechanism, the part on the bottom. 2:45 Maybe part of a chewed up spoon bowl? Rang up 99 sounds like silver or copper. 4:05 Looks like a sheet metal patch with holes made by round nails. The nails are gone so maybe they replaced the patch with a better one. I have found those around the chicken coop and grain bins.
