Hello, another good video and I enjoyed watching. You got some good, and some unusual finds, well done. I loved the old coins and buttons, some in very nice condition. Until next time, all the best and have a wonderful and blessed Christmas, Natalie🙋🏻♀🎅⛄🌞
Greetings from Beaufort, South Carolina. First off I just want to express how much I enjoy your content, it brings me joy to see content from a fellow South Carolinian. Hope all’s well with you and the crew, can’t wait to see your next video. I got a Equinox 800 over the summer and have all the gear necessary. Problem is I ain’t got any land nor connections. Any advice on how to go about getting a permission? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Kathy , it’s mostly yankee stuff and there’s a few areas that still have relics . We can go anytime . Just waiting for deer season to be over so we can start really getting in the woods
Y'all ole bo,s always finding good stuff all I seem to find in the midlands is shot shells n bottle tops , oh well it is what it is , keep on digging y'all
well we’ve been relic hunting 35 years and to find the old stuff it’s all about location . Personally I can tell where to look and where not just by reading the land 😁 When you’ve been in as many old sites as I have you learn the sites all have certain things in common . It’s not hard for me anymore . Getting on big property is the hard part finding the sites is pretty easy
Hey guys, I'm from Florence and have access to thousands of acres but I'd like to link up with some guys that really know what they're doing. I have places to detect in Florence Co, Darlington Co, Lee Co, and a big tract in Williamsburg Co. Oh yeah, I noticed the hat, I went to Clemson myself. Would love to hear from ya!
Hey Will, I’m retired so I can go pretty much anytime I want. I would be more than happy to teach you how to go about finding relics . Email is elespeter@yahoo.com . Just get with me I’ll give you my number and we can talk . Look forward to hearing from ya👍
Subscribed! Love the videos I’ve seen so far. I’m relatively new to metal detecting and live in Rock Hill and look forward making some finds lake y’all do. Keep it up!
I'm not sure if anybody has told you yet but you said you wish someone would come up with an explanation as to why they put holes in coins. 90% of the time it was a soldier and what they used to do is put holes in the coins and sew them to the inside of their coats so that no matter what they always had some money that wasn't going to be lost out of their pockets. Primarily due to rough sleeping quarters and all these other things that they went through you know the run in the climbing and all of that that way they were secured.
Just subscribed. Great videos and finds. Wish I had some sites like yall do. It's great to see what is available in my area. Time to get out there and find some permissions. I've always had trouble with the asking part. Good job, yall!
Thanks Michael, yeah this hobby has changed a lot . There’s so many interested in detecting history land owners have had it with all the trespassing . So if you’re going to do it and have any chance at success you have to get permission or you could get in trouble . I appreciate you watching👍
I live in Greenwood SC, but can't find much around here. I was told Laurens may be better because its much older......1785. On some of these back roads I see abandoned civil war cabins or houses. Im new to the hobby, so how do I go about getting permission to search those premises? Thanks so much. Great finds. Love the music.
Lazlo! Reach out to me! I am in the South Carolina Midlands and my family has an 800 acre old plantation built in 1798. I would love some advice and maybe for you to even come check it out
@@petereles1 can I text you on that number as well? I'll reach out tomorrow. It's an exciting and intimidating plot of land. So much history. Merry Christmas!
Awesome background song, and great finds. Love the SC’s - finding one is always a great day diggin. Watching this video made me think of a name that fits you perfectly “Eagle Pete”. haha Anyways, enjoyed the video as always, and a nice taste of Lowcountry Diggin!
@@petereles1 If you would tell me a place? If you're up near Kennesaw Mountain Georgia battle field or the area. I'll hook you up. I've hunted picketts mill , Dallas , New Hope , all over. I've been hunting since 1986.
low country, there was not much civil war activity in the upstate . If you live in the Greenville Spartanburg area you’re not finding anything like this. Ive never been up that way and never will😁
i don’t but my buddies do . we don’t see a lot of snakes but in SC when it’s warm and you’re in the woods better to be safe than sorry . So i do recommend them in warm weather even in january!
