I decided to dust off my T2 classic to see how it did on this test. I used 2, 16 penny nails and did not get as good of results with unmasking as you did. But, 16p. nails are quite large. I removed one nail and it did fine. I monkeyed around with the different tones and discovered that '3b' tone setting gave the best audible tone separation. So, thanks to your video, I have several trashy parks to hit again, and I'll be using 3b tones. It should be exciting.
I did receive my t2 already found 3 pieces of jewelry and a 1934 Japanese sen coin and taco money. Great machine thanks again for all the reviews. Of course I told my wife it's your fault that I now own a delta, gamma and t2 lol. I live near Bakersfield but plan to detect cali parks so we may bump into one another sometime. May good fortune fill your pouch... Ray
Hunter, I watched part one two days ago. I went to Cabelas and bought the T2 yesterday. Impressive design quality and can't wait to prospect and experience the T2's other valuable talents. Thanks!
Joining T2+ famdamily tomorrow! Wanted a T2 for 12 or more years. Excited about this older machine. Whats the best all around coil youve used for this one ?
Thanks for your vids. I have a question as you mentioned you told that teknetic t2 is great in Iron. But how about gold ,treature This device can't recognize gold from iron and for all metal has a the same sound . And my question was that how do you know that the target is gold or iron? Thanks
Thanks for watching. In all metal mode you will not be able to tell from audio alone. All metals sound the same. You would need to rely on the ID at that point. If you change over to discrimination mode it will low tone iron and mid tone most gold signals in most tone options.
I'm very pleased to speak with you. And love your channel. My home town and my grandpa village is completed with treasure most of people find big gold things and Jewellery in depth of 1 meter or more . Does this device can find something like a gold apple shape in 1 meter or less depth? Thank for your answer🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@akomoghadam9463 My pleasure. Thank you for the kind words. It is a maybe on something that size. I'd say it is likely to hit an apple sized object at 2 feet. That would be an amazing find.
HI,Hunter family,i have noticed, when viewing on a mobile device, the views do not register on youtube viewing figures.wish well with your website! atb hh gl
Absolutely...masked targets will often give a ID reading that is not correct to a unmasked baseline - no matter the brand of detector. This is why many prefer tones over ID.
