She Detector, you are an environmental warrior!! Thanks for helping to clean up the beaches. I could tell this video was a labor of love and that you didn't feel well while making it. I missed your post last week and was getting worried when I didn't see a new one this Monday. I guess even warriors get sick. Hope you feel better very soon. Had to give you a big thumbs up for this vid.
Great to see you back in action. Just getting over the same illness. The reason I enjoy your videos over most of other ones is that you are not all about the finds but you show and explain the machine you are using. Very useful for people wanting to learn and see different machines being used rather than just air tests.
Bummer about getting sick. At least your better now though. :) Well I'm glad you like my videos. I do try to answer questions someone might have about a machine. :)
Congratulations on reaching 10,000+ subscribers! Sorry you're not well and hope you are soon feeling better... Thank you for taking the time to do a video despite being unwell - you're a star! :)
Sorry your not feeling well but at least you got to get out and get some fresh air. I too have a head cold/infection but stuck indoors as it is stormy here. Keep the videos coming!
Hi She hope you get better soon my last cold right after new years has been hanging on until now think it has turned into a sinus infection got to see the Doc next week. The lock is made of different metals the internal tumblers are brass and the outer is steel the machines can try and null the iron and still pick up on the brass mixed signals. Glad to see you showing the Whites BH 300 I have been curious how it does its one that I voted for. It was a machine that I was considering along with the Excal but settled on the Excal.
Oh no! That's terrible. Hopefully you're able to get fixed up soon. Thank you! I'm feeling much better now! Yea, that's what the 300 was doing. It wanted to null but not really. I'm liking it so far but still have a bunch of testing to do. :D Well, I personally wouldn't pick the 300 over the Excal that's for sure. I think you made the right choice! Hahaha.
You are dealing with sort of a groggy morning feeling all day then, I feel for ya She, it's been kind of a sickly winter for me too. Off to bed with you young lady! Get some rest.
She Detector thank ya it was impossible to hunt the grounds except the beach! We got through it just got out & found silver ring & hit the quarter Jack pot, no gold but good day! Also broke my DFX battery tab all the way back in the box! I took the machine apart and made a new part & it works again, thank God! My best bud gave the machine to me and it has found so much over the years kind of like my right arm! Thanks for great stuff as always! ;)
Hope you get feeling better quickly. It is 60 here today (rainy) and it is going to snow tomorrow. Indiana weather at it's best. Enjoyed the video as always.
Congratulations on the 10K subscribers. That is awesome. Take care of that head cold. Mine turned into a nasty sinus infection. 2 rounds of antibiotics later and finally feeling human. Nice hunt and thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I still can't believe it! It's thanks to you all! I'm much better now thankfully. That's terrible yours got worse. But at least you're better now. :D
It's an older model, but it checks out. How about a Surfmaster P.I.? You'll get more depth and it's used by quite a few of the Rignfinders who detect beaches.
Oh yea, several people have mentioned the Surfmaster. It looks like a great machine. And I'm a fan of PI machines. :) It's on my list of machines to try out. Plus, it's almost $100 cheaper than the 300 (at Kellyco) which is great for anyone looking for a machine that will find everything but is a little friendlier on the wallet. :)
It's definitely a deep and dig machine. We're fans of your channel and appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos, hope you're feeling better!
i got my gold digger pouch today from Ronnie at gold diggers, great item best pouch ever. got land and sea pinpointer t-rex and raptor handle coming. thanks for all the testing and heads up on these items. still waiting your help on new detector to order. thanks girl!! larry
Just wanted to say I hope you get better and feel well soon! Sad that people leave so much crap around, they should just leave jewelry and coins for our detectors to find :-). Thanks for keeping the beaches clean.
Well thank you! I'm feeling much better now. :) Oh tell me about it! I don't understand it, there's trash cans in the parking lot for when people are leaving. Very sad. Hahaha, that would be very nice! :D
hey those round ones are ring pulls, She...pull tabs are the rectangle-ish ones, like that green Monster pull tab there amongst all the ring pulls... lol :p I always enjoy the videos!
Buen vídeo , y buen detalle el de recoger basura de la playa , tendríamos que hacer todos lo mismo . No hay grandes allazgos en las playas de momento , pero cualquier día tendrás una sorpresa seguro . Felicidades .
nice video, hope you get better soon, I am a fan of Whites machines but was disappointed with the pinpointing of that one, it seemed to pull to the left of center. thanks HH
I just got over bronchitis and cold I recommend going to your local liquor store and buying a pint of Mr Boston's rock and the and take about three tablespoons every 3 hours. it really helps the throat and chest stuff. heck we have it to our kids!! my Doctor even recommends it lol. works!!!!. enjoyed the video watching you with this beach hunter 300 I like the big head but the machine seems too big too me. waiting on my stuff to arrive from gold digger. T-Rex land or sea pinpointed and the pouch like your wearing. I couldn't spring for the she detector combo cause I'm not sure the excal is for me hoping you will help me figure out my next machine. have you ever tried the minelab safari? it's more in my price range and I don't hunt in water much like you as the beaches of SC you can't see squat in water at one foot. I mostly beach hunt. feel better get some Mr Boston's today!!!!!
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. At least you're better though. :) I'll have to look for that and keep it on hand for next time. :D Thanks for the tip. :) Oh I've heard about giving it to kids for many years. Good stuff! Thank you for watching! That's some great gear, you will love it! :) I've not tried that machine yet. Thank you! I'm feeling much better now, thankfully!
Most have not heard of rock and rye. My son lives in Phoenix they don't even carry it there. It's a southern thing. I'd like to see a test on the Safari somewhere
Raining today. I have the sniffles too. See if you can contact Master Lock, give them the serial number, they can send you a key. You have a video of proof you 'Found' the lock.
Oh no! Hopefully it didn't get worse. Maybe just allergies? Hahaha, I didn't know they do that. Well there's no way that lock would still open. I'm thinking the insides are garbage because of the salt water.
Locks are hardened stainless steel and resist rusting out for use in Marine environments, or just rain. Stick it in a ultrasonic cleaner. You might be surprised, with some WD40 probably still works.
3.20 Looks like a plug follower they use them to extract the pins from locks stops the springs flying every were could be way off tho just thought it looks a bit like 1 any how happy hunting i love this hobby you make great videos
yea i pick locks for a hobby as well as metal detecting its very relaxing and therapeutic strange place to find 1 if thats what it is any how happy hunting and have a great day
Hope you get well soon. This video was very good one of your best more digging less talk- HaHa! Enjoyed it. I was sick for two weeks not fun I feel for you.
Beach Swimmy Thingies... technical term. I have been fighting the same cold plus my daughter's birthday party... kept me from the beach. I think my medal detector feels neglected.
I only work with technical terms. Hahahaha! Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. Only thing worse then being sick is being sick around a bunch of screaming kids. Hehehe. Hopefully it wasn't to bad. Your detector probably put a jinx on you for not taking it out. It made you get sick as pay back. Hahaha.
that loop you have wrapped up becomes a giant resistor... It's better to just have it wrapped around the pole.. the loop will cut down your voltage of the machine
Thank you! I'm doing much better now thankfully! I have but it would take me forever to build up enough to try to sell. Plus, storing it would be an issue. The hubby does a lot of work in the garage so it would just get in the way. :(
Hi miss she detector, please enter me in your contest. P got hooked on your videos while checking into detecting. I also detecting local beaches, so your detecting style made me subscribe from the beginning. Love your videos.
Thanks for watching! Make sure to leave your comment on the video for the contest. I can't enter you from this video. :( And make sure to include all the things. ;)
Hahaha. It doesn't happen very often I'll tell you that. I've lived here since Aug 2014 and this is the first time I've had to call out sick from work. Weird... Thank you! I'm doing much better now thankfully!
I am willing to start in the Hobby. Would you please recommend a good detector for beach to me? I would love to get the Excalibur, but it’s too expensive to me. Do you know of any other that would give me similar results for less money? Thank you for your wonderful videos.
Thanks for grabbing the bottles :) Hey did your scoop come drilled thru the handle and bolted when you bought it, or did your husband drill it thru? I know he switched out the bolts in the Raptor handle so I am curious if he upgraded the scoop also. The scoop I just bought only had one hole for a screw to keep the handle on. Maybe I should do an upgrade also, I just threw in a brass screw. the Beach Hunter is a nice machine but I still like the PI units for the beach. Dig everything clean the playground. :) I already had something in the lungs real butt kicker I had to take off a day also. Get Well.
Of course! I try to take everything. :) No it didn't. My husband did it for me a few weeks ago. The screw that we had put in originally was eaten away from the salt water. I highly recommend drilling it through though. Much sturdier. He sure did. :) Having one hole is fine I think it just all depends on the hardware you use to mount everything. A heavy duty screw is a must if you're in salt water. :) It is nice so far. I know what you mean. I was a HUGE fan of the Sand Shark. Amazing machine. :) Aww sorry to hear that. Hopefully you're all better now though. Thanks!
Nice one. You shouldnt have to pick up other peoples rubbish. I hate that. Imagine how great the world would be if everybody was like you. Anyway hope you get well soon. XO
Thank you! I agree, people should do it themselves. But, since they didn't, I don't mind. Aww, well thank you! I'm feeling much better now, thankfully!
Those respiratory infections really suck--and just won't go away--wife eventually went into hospital with pneumonia for 3 days--and later I had something like that head cold--it is an epidemic here in the mid south and deep south and I found it in the mid west as well --I can hear you breathing hard in the video and almost wheezing--I am thinking you did well to tough it out during the hunt-tougher than I am for sure-lol--sorry you feel so bad--I almost yessed lut at you to get out and go home--haha--serious tho--best wishes
Right you are! Oh my gosh that's terrible! I'm sorry to hear that. Yea, Monday I woke up feeling like death. Stayed home the next 3 days! :O Much better now though. :) Thank you!
She D what beach/water shoes are you using. looks like they hold up very well. I looking for a pair but keep running into bad reviews. Get well and keep at it.
Honestly, I bought these shoes at Walmart for like $10. Hahaha. They won't protect your ankles from stingray stings but they protect you from shells and glass on the beach.
dear. queen of the watermelons. it's long time without any chatting between us. I'm so sorry because my mobile phone is damaged when I was dig inside the beach water 😥and now i have the new one . any way i whis you are fine and also all of your family dear. happy Valentine .... ( IN GOD WE TRUST) regards
Hahaha. I bought my scoop from Myers Metal Detectors here in Tampa. But, Kellyco carries it and you can also buy it from The Gold Digger Metal Detectors. They are actually the ones that make it. But, it's going to cost about $175 no matter where you buy it from. :/
Hahaha, no! I was trying to not talk much so I was like, here's where I'm at, here's where the water is, and then I was like, not sure what else to say so I just spun the camera around to show the detector. Hahaha.
It is pretty junky but it could also be promising. Tons of old beaver tails which means it's not hunted very often. I need to get deeper in the water. Could be rings hiding! :D Thank you! I'm much better now thankfully.
I do all the video editing and such but he goes with me on 95% of all my hunts. You never know if some crazy might attack me so he's always there with me. :D
Sweetheart you okay? Got a lot of moans and groans from you. Got a good detector signal from you though. At the start when you was doing all the technical talk like beach thingies. I thought you fell over. At least you had your chest warm. Stay well young lady.
I'm much better now. :D Oh yes, it was kind of miserable. I kept wiping my nose on my sleeve. Hahaha. Poor sleeves. Oh you know, always with the technical terms and such. Hahaha. I know what you mean. I was trying to talk as little as possible. Hahaha. I'm much better now though. :)
Too bad that lock isn't open, you could snap it on somebody's bike for a joke, make them rustle up a bolt cutter before they can ride. When you say thank you very much and it sounds like thag you very buttch it's time to go back to sleep. Get well!
