I absolutely will never part with my Deus 1. When The Deus HF coils and I are out there together.... WE ARE ONE!!! If I were to have just one detector....it would be the Deus 1. What happens when my other detectors fail...I put them in the closet for parts. What happens if my Deus 1 fails...I will purchase parts or just buy another Deus 1. Thanks Gary!!
Superb episode. Been using the Deus for 5 years and I find it hard to put it down / replace it with anything else. It’s just such a wonderful light and adjustable machine to use. Still in love with it. Thank you Gary🙏🏻 Stay well and be lucky🤞🏻🍻
Great to see you are still giving us stuff on the Deus 1 :) A great video.. I have never used the Sonar program, so I guess I should have a play with it this weekend, as I have been in a massive "find nothing but dross" phase for Months.. I normally use your Ultimate program - Thanks Gary
My Deus 1 may have taken a back seat since the Deus 2 kind of took over. But I'd never part with it, Gaz, This video has me wanting a couple of searches with both of you soon, well, sort it. The Sonar program just sings out at you even with sensitivity at 95, and I totally agree reactivity 4 on stubble for the reasons you explained. So much feedback with the Sonar, but with the good signals singing out. What's not to like 👍
Thanks Paul - good to hear from you! I will look into Mono... in what way like the old Deus? I still have that if I want to use it I think it will be hard to put aside! And I have gone "Lite" with the 2 too - any advice greatly accepted -any tips for stubble I am taking it out on its first run this morning - hope all well!@@paulbancroft3817
As always great vid Gary. I'm just the same had d1 with 3 coils and will never sell. Also have the D2 and it's brilliant. I think I'm going to take the d1 out again it's been sat since I got d2 also had sonar and ultimate program since start both great settings 👍
Thank you for the video Gary. I have an XP ORX and a Legend. And I seem to always grab the XP because it is so much lighter. I posted an ad to sell it and someone is offering to trade a Deus I for it and it is very tempting.
C’mon Gary , I think you mean the Deus 1 is like an old girlfriend you can’t forget . I like my Deus 2 but like yourself , I seem to enjoy my hunts with the Deus 1 a lot more !
@@The-skillschool any idea where I can get a replacement coil ( 11 inch ) for my Goldmaxx Power as the cable outer shield has perished and is crumbling. I have contacted XP and they told me to contact Regton but they don't have any in stock and unlikely to get any more in. Any help would really be great and thank you in advance.
For me,I waited for the deus2 tested it out, and brought it back to the dealer.. Deus2 is really not as good as it should be.. So I stick to the Deus1 with the HF coil in Hot program !
