A friend joined me for this relic hunt and we visited the same area as in my last detecting video. The finds were pretty similar, lot's of evidence of artillery fire, belgian ammunition,...But also an awesome and rare find which really made my relic hunting year.
Thanks for watching and if you enjoyed the video please like and/or subscribe for more ww1 and ww2 stuff.

@@KG-Collection ja! Danke! What other cool stuff have you found? Any bayonets, rifles, or helmets?
@KG-Collection

@@j.lietka9406 mostly buttons, insignia, buckles but not the big stuff. Hard to find something like that here, the battlefields were mostly cleared shortly after the fighting.

If we want to find amazing stuff we diggers need to go near Berlin or the Eastern Front there we can still find alot of crazy stuff, Western Europe has seen less fightings and people took most of the relics decades ago...

Personnally I prefer digging over here. I'm very interested in local history and what exactly happened here during ww1. All my finds are documented where i've found what and I compare this to the information i've found in books. All of this paints a good picture of what exactly happened here. It's true that eastern front diggers find more exiting stuff but for me it's more about the history of my home and documenting the battles with the help of the relics if find.

@@crossdigor7202 I'm not sure how it works if you are from another country, would suggest you contact the people at following website, this is the goverment agency that gives out the permits and they will be able to answer your questions www.onroerenderfgoed.be
