Alvin York, the most decorated US soldier in WW I. From the 2019 9th album, The Great War. Amaranthe had done a cover of this song, that's why Sabaton invited them up for this. Amaranthe is a Swedish metal band, unique in that they have 3 vocalists, a female clean (Elize Ryd), a male clean (Nils Molin current), and a male harsh (Henrik "GG6" Englund Wilhelmsson seen here, now Mikael Sehlin). Elize had auditioned for Nightwish when Anette was chosen. Tuomas felt she was too young at the time. In 2012 she and Alissa White Gluz (current Arch Enemy) were touring with Kamelot, opening for Nightwish, when Anette had to go to the hospital and couldn't perform. Elize and Alissa sang the NW set in Denver, Floor made it for the Seattle show. First time ever seeing all of these bands live!🤘 Yes, Amaranthe has 3 singers. All of them hit the roof with awesome vocals!!🤘And of course, there are a musicianship beyond belief in the whole band. The sound is EDM/Metal/Growl in one package. Check out their music videos for "Catalyst", "Viral", "365", "Strong feat. Noora Lohimo", "Nexus", "Boom!1" and "Digital World". Sabaton is now touring the US with Judas Priest. Sabaton is completely different from all other bands and musicians. Sabaton is run as a company and you manage everything yourself. Sabaton has 100 employees, they take care of booking hotels, arenas they will play in, airline tickets if they are going to fly. They handle all sales of souvenirs, clothes and records. The stage designers are employed by Sabaton, Sabaton owns if I remember correctly 8 trucks that will transport the stage equipment and it takes place in the trucks with the tower from a tank, the stage is built as a trench, then everything that will sell the instruments, show clothes. in addition, they own a number of buses the staff will take with them. So no outsider has anything to do with Sabaton who is going to charge a flat fee. This allows the cost of concert tickets to be kept down. When Sabaton toured Sweden with a band, a ticket you bought online directly from Sabaton cost only 56 dollars, there were a number of VIP tickets for those who wanted to meet the band before the gig and then you paid 64 dollars for that ticket. Sabaton does not drink alcohol either before or after a gig, but they drink tea, as singer Joakim himself has told us, and they do some gymnastics before going on. Re the 82nd, when Alvin York was in it in World war 1 it was an infantry division and was known as the 'All American' because it had soldiers from a wide variety of states all over the country rather than from just one or maybe a few geographically nearby states. During World War 2 it became an airborne division hence the "Death from above they NOW say" line, a clever little way to acknowledge the history and accolades of the 82nd despite it not having happened yet in the time of the man and deeds they're singing about.
