Hey Brother! Just finished the Tiger 1 build. You weren't kidding about those wheel sets! I looked at the directions numerous times before starting to build them, and I just didn't get it. Thanks for the tip on assembling them in a different order than numerical by part. I'm sure I would have goofed it up. I agree with your recommendation that this shouldn't be someone's first Metal Earth build. But, after getting used to the directions, and gaining some "builder's wisdom", it would be a challenging, but rewarding puzzle. Keep up the good work, and as always thanks a bunch!

Good video. This was definitely a pain in the ass when getting to the wheels. Especially since I got 2 broken fingers. But I managed to build it although very time consuming.

Very helpfull video, thanks! Yes, the wheels are a pain, I would recommend looking very closely at the assembly diagram before you start to build, other wise you may be doing a lot of dis-assembly. Don't ask how I know.😉. Your video is nicely done.

Thabks gor all your videos helps me so much im having less broken parts i just built this ine and its the first one lut kf the 5 metal earth models i have built where i did t hsve at the least one part break on me or get bent crooked cause its so small my bug sausage fingers destroyed it. Thabk you. I still proudly display my models even though they are not perfect or missing a super small part here or there cause they still look really cool and neat and i spent hours buolding them i guess the more i do the better i will get at making these models. I store them in a shoebox right now until i get enough built to justify buying a dust proof display cabinet for them cause 5 little models wont look right in a huge display case bu them self so when i get a good bit built and saved up then ill make a massive display ot my other idea is using smaller display cases that are ment ti hold like one 1/24 scale model car or maybe bigger like something like that and then put metal earth models of each subject matter all together in one small display case. Like one case has all aircraft another has all nasa and space models, and another has say tanks and military vehicles and have display cases set up like that instead of a big tall stand up display cabinet

Appreciate the video, it helped me a lot. Would like to have known about some of the issues up front vs at the end, but it is what it is. I put 3 of 8 inner wheel faces in wrong, the slots weren’t horizontally aligned right to accept the tabs of the outer wheels. Glad I pushed the tabs down vs twist, I would have to have ordered another kit, which probably wouldn’t have happened. Great tip on this threads, I was puzzled and went to check your video. Horrible instructions. Online not much better, the image is blurry when you zoom.

The m1 Abrams tank model has a turret that swivels and that makes it way better than the others

Hey! Great video! I have this kit and 11 others waiting for me to build. I successfully built the P-51D Mustang kit and it looks great. It had some testy areas as well. I need to check if my Tiger 1 instructions are the "new" or the "old" as you point out. I have Cancer and a bunch of side effects to fight through from the chemotherapy so these kits are great for me to concentrate on as well as help me through the Neuropathy in my hands. Again, great video.....now on to building the Tiger 1, Messerschmitt, Spitfire, Corsair, P-40, SR-71, Fokker DR-1 Triplane, another P-51, Mitsubishi Zero, B-17 Bomber, and the Russian T-34 tank.

Awesome!! I have a question! I tried to build a car from the 1940’s. How do you hold the little parts still so I can twist the tabs easily? I had a hard time with that. Maybe it’s just me!!!!! Also Is there a special bonding glue I can buy to make the pieces stay together?

Hello,i am thinking about getting the tiger 1 but i have never build any of these metal earth builds,would you recommend it to a starter?

just bought my first one, a London bus, it was on the shelf in a collectibles store i was in looking at figures and i just thought why not lol. not sure of the brand, Genesis tech/iron Star?. i need some tools to help with the build i think but hopefully wont be long until i can start.

This one tat sold in my city is all in Japanese. I can understand it said some to be folded some to be twisted but I didn't understand why should I twist them. I just folded everything. I also didn't know the wheels are supposed to be fitted like that (14:30), I used my creativity and did from outside in (wheel cap first).. LOL.. lucky it worked! Should have come to RU-vid first! I salute you for assembly all these 3D puzzles.. they are so tiny!

I flip the sheet over and the wheels are much easier to differentiate which ones are a set and aren't, the different tab designs are much more visible from the reverse side of the sheets

Hey you should try an xacto knife or razor blade. They work well at not leaving a little nib when separating the pieces.

First of all I would like to thank you for your videos, you explain and show very well each metal model. I watched all the 3 videos you made about the WWII tanks; The Sherman, the Tiger I and the T34. Which I'm very interested in buy the last 2 (The Sherman maybe on a future). I very like of stuff related to WWII, and I would like to have a metal Tiger I and T34 on my desktop I find them on Amazon for 18 euros (approx $20 ) but I have no experience in modeling, do you think I can build those models just with patience and the tools I have at home? Are the metal pieces easy to break (I mean when they are removed from the template). I hope you could answer my two questions and I wish you the best, I think you deserve more Subscribers as bigger Modeling channels. (And I'm sorry for my grammar, English is not my native language)

I did it only by my hand using no tools except for scissors to remove the parts out:D . The ouput is not as good as yours but yeah, I'm pretty proud of myself of creating such pieces:)

Hi there, i was doing this model today and i have one small question. I saw, you strictly follow the instructions with bending and twisting tabs. What do you prefer more? Im always trying to use bending, because then model looks better to me and in the final, i didnt have problems with tracks getting away from the hull. I managed it even on the small exhausts, which was difficult and twisting would save a lot of the time, but in the general, i managed. I just dont believe twisting, because when i was doing Ambrams, thanks to twisting piece of the hull fall down :/

Great video, these metal models are much too small for my pref, do you know of any company that makes normal scale metal models like a 1:35 scale tank? I prefer models that having functioning parts such as movable turret and or rolling wheels or plates, basically I am looking for standard plastic models but as plastic is so bad for our environment, I would much prefer if I could get the models made of metal.
