As a closing note; Doing this has been an experience. I didn't need to re-learn the game at all, but my skill level in order to achieve this series has unquestionably been raised, especially with both Sam & Blade Wolf. Granted, Blade Wolf doesn't have many combat moments in this video as I get the No Alert bonus, but his VR Mission 4, I thought would be the hardest challenege - yet it's more fair than Sam's VR Mission 4, once I figured out that the LQ-84 in Wave 2 can be stealth killed despite being in a combat phase, that trivialised that fight. I recorded this before I did Sam's DLC and would never have expected Sam VR 4 to be as luck based as it was - it remains the longest I spent on any moment in this series. So, thanks for watching... and little trivia, after nearly 10 years; all the base game VR Missions still have their "NEW" tabs on them. I tried doing all the DLC VR Missions first, but I'm stuck near the end on a Zandatsu All Enemies.
This was a fun series to watch, all the main story and secondary without any damage (Except Chapter R-00). but all good things come to an end... (Unless you do a Bonus Chapter with all Missions in VR No Damage and Rank 1ST Which I Highly Doubt). Have a Merry Christmas Zak!
The thing about Balde Wolf is; he's not got much of a movelist, so naturally he sucks at combat. I'll admit; the three instances of direct combat that aren't Khamsin in this run are mainly just alternating between his two combo's and spamming block. Khamsin is just 5 minutes of counter-reacting - either moving to the side, jumping then attacking or doing an aerial combo to stay in the air as long as possible - depending on what move he makes first.
I think you really are a good snake and blade wolf if you can stealth like that it’s like ai if your like on the side or just walk around they can’t hear you the enemy didn’t know what hit them a quick and fast death all the enemies chainsaw and throwing blades are deadly the knives are a good distraction
I personally keep all the knives, emp grenades, and smoke grenades for the boss, as it easily trivializes him. At the start, throw all 10 knives at Khamsin himself it’s a bit hard to keep your distance and land the shots with how he wriggles around with his mech, but landing all 10 will do 25% health and hopefully if he doesn’t immediately go into his earth shatter attack you can get a bit extra damage in, after you sneak attack him you can get in 4 XXX combos in by blade mode canceling on the third hit and still have time to jump + chainsaw dive. Next equip the smoke grenades and immediately throw them, jump into chainsaw dive into three hit combo and block to avoid the rest of his attack, repeat till you are out of smokes and he should be ready to go into his next earth shatter, sneak attack again and now he should be somewhere between 30-15% now just use emps and spam three hit BM cancel combos as you can until he’s ready for final phase. This makes this otherwise mildly irritating fight into a irrelevant one
hell yeah, this was amazing. I never expected to have so fun watching another person do a full playthrough of the game, getting S-ranks. But this really was amazing. I can't wait to see what challenge you do next

Hey man, do you know if you have to redo a vr mission if you reset anything? Specifically the stealth VR in the hotel, I accidentally got caught by the back up enemies and reset and it put me back outside where the reset position for the vr mission is, does this invalidate the S for the VR?
I specifically use the Restart option at 7:29 having beaten VR Mission 1, and it kept the Rank for the VR Mission since it checkpointed upon returning to the main level. All you should need to do is run into the hotel, up the stairs to where the VR Mission is- but if you've S Ranked it, you shouldn't need to access it, just let the enemies spawn in and proceed from there.
Can i ask you, what missions are obligatory to obtain the final S Rank? i guess the secret LQ-84 battle and what is the other one? i always obtain an A because one battle stays like (-), i can't figure out what battle is, can you tell me with the video as reference where that battle happens? thank you for your attention
There are 19 Ranked fights in Blade Wolf's DLC. To get S Rank for the Chapter, you have to S Rank all 19 of those fights in one playthrough. Obviously, I can't say which exact fight you're missing - but I have specifically labelled every single encounter in this level and differentiated between whether they're Ranked or Unranked in the video description. So that should hopefully help if you play while doing a checklist of a watch-along.
Yes - same goes for Sam's DLC Chapter as well. When you get to the Chapter Results screen, the 5 VR Missions ARE counted on the top left as Ranked encounters. When it comes to Sam & Blade Wolf's Chapters, think of it like this; them being "VR Missions" is meaningless and just a presentation thing - allowing for more encounters in DLC Chapters comprised solely of almost entirely reused level geometry from the main game.
I don't see why it wouldn't be. No Damage means having 200% Health is irrelevant, and as for Fuel Cells... Wolf's Blade Mode movement speed is almost non-existent, so the only time I use it outside of Hunt Kills are the VR Missions involving Dwarf Gekko & Raptors.
