No wigs, no bodies, no sub-weapons, no items, no Ripper mode, and only the default HF Blade (but with maxed stats). Later this evening, I will be performing the Black Sacrament for the gekkos. You're welcome to join in.
Pretty sure MG Excelsus can debatably destroy both REX and RAY despite it not being an actual Metal Gear unit since it doesn't have any sort of Nuclear capabilities. The Pros/Advantages that it has if it were to fight against REX or RAY would be : 1. Size advantage(obviously) 2. CQC Capabilities 3. The fact that it's Hexapedal means that it would be absolutely planted to the ground(unless if a Blondie Cyborg decided to hug it's arm and absolutely suplex it flipping it upside down) 4. The ability to tunnel underground, Now this is arguably the most underrated but the most important aspect that makes it superior to most other Metal Gear Units since it would be almost absolutely undetectable and could easily ambush for Example REX or just a whole army of tanks and infantries. And one might say that REX can just snipe it with it's Nuclear Railgun, then think about how tf would one try and shoot something that tunnels underground, if anything the only way to know where to shoot and actually hit it is if REX aims straight down which would destroy both REX and Excelsus 5. Hypothetically, you could simply just attach a Railgun similar to that of REX, Sahelanthropus, ZEKE, and etc to Excelsus and boom you have yourself a true Metal Gear 6. It's cockpit is very protected as proven that EVEN after it got fkin suplexed, flipped, and even got smashed with it's own blade, the cockpit is entirely intact and it's still able to come up and open up like nothing happened Now we're going to look at the Cons/disadvantage that Excelsus has compared to other Metal Gear : 1. It's a very easy target(unless if it tunnels underground) 2. The fact that it's both Hexapedal and massive means it would be very slow and would be lacking in mobility (unless if it's underground) 3. It lacks weaponry 4. Probably VERY expensive
The unenlightened masses They cannot make the judgment call Give up free will forever Their voices won't be heard at all Display obedience While never stepping out of line And blindly swear allegiance Let your country control your mind Let your country control your soul Live in ignorance And purchase your happiness When blood and sweat is the real cost Thinking ceases, the truth is lost Don't you worry You'll be told exactly what to do I give my people the lies they need The righteous will succeed The fires of greed will burn the weak So we'll make freedom obsolete Making whole the fabric of society Collective consciousness controlled as you will see MIND CONTROL Let your country control your soul Let your country control your soul Let your country control your soul Let your country control your SOOOOOOOUUUUUUULLLLL
@@kinlun124 Metal Gears were design to be mobile nuclear launch pads, so both Rex and Ray have the means to both carry and launch nuclear arms, so they are technically stronger than Excelsus for that alone, granted idk if anything is stopping Excelsus from being armed with nukes as well
@@kathiane29 Not like this. The songs are programmed to change according to certain actions, but the fact that they synced up in this video to be like in the soundtrack is an amazing coincidence.
Can we give this man an award for making sure the music synced perfectly with the fight? A true gamer at work! Also because he did this, Raiden is one of the most powerful anime characters of all time. Reasons: 1. White hair: Every powerful anime character has white hair, that’s why Jetstream Sam died 2. Cyborg body: Raiden is able to lift Metal Gear Excelsus with his body, and Excelsus weighs about 8164663 to 13607771kg. In short, one chonky Metal Gear. 3. He has music. Every anime protagonist or character has music only they and the audience can hear. Not to mention they synced the music 4. Perfect Execution: They took no dmg, simply that powerful
@@A.Z.296 Correction, he’s weilding the normal HF Blade. Look at the blade colour, Murasama is a red blade while the normal HF Blade is a common silver
But don't be mistaken Jetstream Sam is not weak. he could cut off raiden's arm at the start of the game, want more proof? imagine just how much does MG RAY (MOD) weighs and then think about the resistance of raiden's arms. RAIDEN IS A MACHINE and jetstream sam is a f##### monster.
@@delkinho0641 Technically that doesn't count as Sam did a quickdraw because last I checked, he SHOT his sword out it's sheath and sliced off Raidens arm that way
I've listened to collective consciousness so many times that I can practically hear the lyrics when the song is still in the instrumental stage. Swear I heard the lyrics. But that's just my mind creating the illusion of vocals haha
So cool, thanks to you I just beat him. Was forgetting to do the dodge which is crucial in this fight. Thanks for playing the game right and so well. Super cool watching you play and take advantage of every opportunity. Take care
You know I didn't realize this guy was doable no damage. I always thought that the attacks were too strict to attempt dodge striking. Welp, lesson learned. Time to cheese with armor breaker
@@dragos8839 im a little late but it's a skill called "Defensive Offence". You can buy it in customization menu. It has invincibility frames so you can dodge any attack in the game by using it basically.
@@dragos8839 yeah it’s pretty fucked that if you don’t have enough health upgrades or know how to use this dodge shit or healing items you’re pretty much fucked
My problem with this boss fight is that when he used the double downslam and i try to dodge it, Jack always blocks. I dont know why, but i miss the dodge and somehow block instead
Been trying to do defensive offensive dodge but controls or controller is inconsistent, i am perfectly lined up forward with excelsus stood still pressing ex and square and left or right at the same time which works most of the time but sometimes he randomly dodges backwards and i get hit, i can guarantee you i am not pressing back while dodging, its pissing me off trying do it no damage
The way be blocks sideways is with the "Defensive offence" skill The Defensive Offense involves Raiden Slashing And diving in the direction your going. However, Defensive Offence also gives you immunity for half a second which makes the skill absolutely broken, and a necessity to abuse in the Jetstream Sam DLC To use the skill Hit X Then A in quick succession while moving in the direction you want to dodge (If your using an XBOX controller like me)
@@greensauce2350 still doesn't fucking work. Dude has a 6th sense of where I'm gonna be, and I still can't parry without taking damage. I have the Defensive Offense skill unlocked, I have it equipped, and I still get my ass whooped. I ran out of spare healing items and I don't have enough health to last me. I can get to the part where he puts the blades away and tries stomping on me with the Excelsor's feet. I can survive 3 stomps, but I die on the 4th time. I just can't beat him.
@@MarioTheLiopleurodon if your taking damage when using defensive offensive, your timing is off. Just take a deep breath and mix it up until you find the timing you need to avoid the damage. This would be seriously helpful to learn for armstrong, you don't need it to succeed, but being able to dodge properly helps a ton and its even more useful in jetstream Sam's dlc since its even better/more generous there, while his block/parry is worse than raiden's.
@@Lucas61616 Sorry man I was raging last night. Took me way too many tries but after looking at some tutorials and practicing I finally got the Def/Off down. Now it's just a matter of surviving long enough when "It Has To Be This Way" starts playing. Those throwables that I need to slice in blade-mode are kicking my ass lol
On Revengeance difficulty you do more damage, although you will most likely be one shot by any move unless you got health packs as any hit takes an entire health bar.
its basically just a mix of timing and skill, if you parry at the right time it wont cause you to be stunned for a second, its basically a perfect parry, you parry and instantly can get back to attacks, if you time it correctly you get no damage and arent stunned for a second.
@@mmm-uv9bn You need to unlock and equip the skill. Go to customize, then make sure the skill says in blue text "EQUIP:" or somethng like that, i didn't have a single skill equipped 'cause that shit confused me
