Finally! I must applaud you. I've seen a bunch of people react to this recently, and virtually all of them, many of whom I know played MGS3, have been incorrectly saying "croc hat" or "croc head". Thus far you are the only one who has correctly referred to it as the croc cap 👏

Played back in 2004 when it came out. Nothing beats that nostalgia for the greatest game ever made seeing it remade in modern graphics is a dream come true

Looks like a Dead Space style remake where everything is largely the same, just updated to modern standards but with additions that make sense. In Dead Space it was giving Isaac a voice and the anti grav boots. In MGS its the new controls and probably other things we havent seen. Im hoping for a more accessible inventory menu because, while I liked the backpack, it was pretty slow if you wanted to swap stuff around. Im over the moon for this. Got 70 bucks put away for whenever that release date comes

I’ve never bought a Collector’s Edition of any game before. But for this one, I’m definitely getting it this time. I just love MGS so much. MGS3 is my all time favourite.

The only thing I want to see getting expanded upon are the maps, especially because they've changed the core mechanics of how Snake moves and attacks. Don't cut out parts of the maps. Recreate them 1:1, and then expand upon certain areas a little bit so the player can choose more routes to get to certain places/story bits. If they did that, it would mean the world to us returning players to experience the exploration aspect of the maps we know and love, once more, 20 years later.

Looks like basically everything will be the same. The cutscenes, the map layout. So no reason to anticipate it if you played it already. But for those who played it a *very* long ago, or never, it will be alright experience.

Fr , you can literally scroll up and some comments think it’s gonna play like pantom pain or have added areas in the map but people don’t understand what keeping it all one to one means I guess … it’s gonna play exactly like 3 maybe with the added controls from peace walker

This was a missed opportunity to change the voice of Big Boss to Kiefer Sutherland and in this way give a little more coherence to the Big Boss saga, although at the same time I understand why they didn't do it since it was more expensive and that's why it was I end up using the same audio track as the original. Leaving that aside I think it will be great and won't stop anyone from enjoying the game.

If you are going to play the rest of the Solid games, I recommend playing 4 very last! If you play 5 last, you will be very underwhelmed and probably a bit disappointed by how abruptly and anticlimactic the ending is. 4 is a much better way to end your first run through of the series. Plus it's the end of the series chronologically anyway.
