My favourite trailer of all time. I watched this countless times on the PS2 demo disc.

23 years later and after 3:40 part I still get goosebumps.

I am so glad this treailer is recreated. I remember spending one whole day, 5 hours in a dial-up to download this 50mb trailer, and it was DAMN worth it. Must have rewatched that trailer a 100 times, probably 2 or three times every time I turn on the computer XD Great times.

i remember when this game came out. it was the stuff. people loved it and wouldn't stop talking about it. and the amount of coding that went into it was astonishing. amazing that it was released on the ps2. even after more than ten years since it came out, it still holds up.

I've never really been into these kind of games until the past few months and I'm looking forward to giving this franchise a go ( a zillion years too late. But better late than never? lol ). I never realised how much of a good story this genre of games can have. And fantastic music. Excited to give this a try ^^

I love searching by new comments. You get to see people young and old, that for one reason or another, chose to check the comments on a 12-year old video. On a trailer of a game that came out 23 years ago. Some of us are here because we were there. We remember watching this trailer on our dial-up Internet, being more hyped for a game than we possibly could have been. And some of us are here because they found this game somewhat recently and are simply diving in, absorbing as much content as they can because they fell in love with this game in the recent past. What is beyond question, is that we are all the same. We love this game. We all appreciate it for different reasons, but the same reason. We all chose what to believe in, and will all pass it on to the future.

this was the first time I saw MGS2. It was on a PS2 demo. I was only 12 at the time so I wasnt really interested in games like these cause i thought it was mostly a movie with little gameplay. I wasnt keen on the first one cause at that age you didnt understand the concept of Stealth and deep narrative games. But I got my mother to by it by chance. We went to a shop that was closing down and didnt want to leave empty handed. So she got me MGS2. I hardly understood it though. It was only when I kept coming back to it once every 2 - 3 years and now I find this to be the best PS2 game ever next to Silent Hill 2 and Snake Eater. Such story and emotion

I like the way they made everything look like you got to play as Snake throughout the whole game and never really mentioned Raiden in the trailer.....then you played the game and were like mmm WTF is snake coming back??? who the fuck is this Raiden??? however after that initial disappointment I gotta say it’s a really good game, one of my favorite memories as a kid
