I'm so high at the time of reading this i almost got up from my chair to do this very thing. still tempted to go prone in the middle of the hallway and act like im invisible
Its a shakuhachi, i think thats what the other commetner was hinting at. A shakuhachi is still a flute though, but its a specific sort of flute. If you like the sound id recommend you look up some music made with it!
I was blown away by the music when I first played the game when it first launched on ps2. Listening it as an adult, I’ve come to appreciate even more of how fire this music is.
Bro listening to this actually kills me now in 2023, i got late into MGS3 i starded with 4 on the playstation. But this theme here blows my Mind. It totally follows a footstep rhtym in the beat and the part at 1:30 which is very reminicent of the 80tys with the cartonish idk what i would discribe it loney tunes meets alice in wonderland or somethink. How is this theme so good. PS2 era had the hardest hitting hits in the industry.
Guard: ❗ *Grabs the radio* "Come in HQ!" HQ: "This is HQ." Guard: "Patrol Here. We're under attack! Enemy's position is unknown. Going to high al- Urggh!" *Collapsed to sleep* "Zzz...zzz..." HQ: "What's going on? Respond!"............. "What's going on out there!?"
At the very beginning of the game on the bridge over the river I heard this song for the first time and it really hooked. I liked to make fun of the soldiers and deliberately raise an alarm. But before that I damaged all the ropes and the soldiers fell down. Yes, a great game. It’s a pity that we won’t see the reprints .
What's it going to be? Loyalty to your shareholders, or loyalty to your fans? Your profits or your reputation? The pachinko games or bringing Kojima back?
@@ironbirdshredder77 Kojima doesn't want to do metal gear anymore he wanted to stop after mgs1. Then he got a ton of death threats to make 2. Then came 3 and no one wanted to take over. 4 was him being utterly burnt out. Phantom pain Konami didn't let him out of his basement for 6 years. Leave kojumbo alone
Oh, so *this* track played in someone's video, all those years ago. He was busy goofing around the base with the Stealth item equipped, causing massive confusion. The guards kept going, "That guy....!" The video's gone now, but it was called, "Fun With Stealth". 😆
This Suddenly makes me wanna get my arm broken and fall off a bridge into water and then get confronted by multiple people with wacky powers who are out to kill me
@@Kittysune12 He tried replaying mgs1 and he was FAILING AGAIN to the point he saved and stopped playing it. Looks like he does not want another TIHYDP .
Man I f u c k i n g love Metal Gear Solid 3. The Boss is hands down the most amazing female character I've ever seen in all of gaming. So beautiful, tragic, and badass. Finally playing as Big Boss after finishing MGS1 and 2 was so awesome. Hands down my favorite game of all time. This theme along with the rest of the soundtrack is nothing but pure genius.
Right literally no one will get this but I was watching phineas and ferb as a grown adult does and they use this track in the flying fishmonger episode when Perry is sneaking best double take ever
*Steps into a trap* Snake: AAAaaaah! Some guard: what was that? HQ, HQ! HQ: this is HQ! Some guard: patrol here HQ: what’s your status? Some guard: send reinforcements, I think the enemy is here HQ: Acknowledged! Sending reinforcements!
@@FrancescoAndreiniITA Understood. Dispatching reinforcements. Proceed with extra caution. I can't remember if that's from Peace Walker or MGS3. Been a while.
