There will be a mission point where stealth is not required. Probably first part getting to objective you must be stealth then play your way.

Here comes all the it isn’t Metal Gear without Kojima, from what I’ve watched it’s exactly Kojima’s MGS3 just with better graphics and visuals. Plus Kojima was sorta a one hit IP wonder in my opinion. He was a genius with the Metal Gear series but fell very hard with Death Stranding… terrible game and story! Still can’t believe that is getting a sequel haha.

Unlike with RE4, Delta seems to be more of a remaster from what we've seen. RE4make redesigned areas and made significant changes to gameplay, whereas all of the areas and cutscenes so far in this are the same as the PS2 Snake Eater but with redone graphics (and a new camera). I'm hoping they revamp the control scheme though, cuz that would be a godsend.

Not a bad thing, all the hard work is done for them and isn't wasted. But yes, there's a ton of small things being reused like sound effects. Edit: like when snake pulls out the rocket launcher, exact same sound effect in MGSV

The Metal Gear franchise is so funny, because if you wanna play the entire story, among all these HD games, you will also have to play two 2D games from the 80s and the 90s. 😅 Kojima should have remade MG1 and MG2 while he had the chance, instead of wasting time with all these prequels.

had anyone also thought that those stealthy tricks he did will never work like hanging on the side of the bridge where any human would inevitably look down out of fear not fall down just to see a goofy guy hanging on the side, or somebody lounges roll forward and prone on the side of someone while probably trickling some dried leaves and branches creating noise.

If it plays like a Upgraded and Updated Snake Eater, this game is gonna be legendary. Snake Eater is already an amazing game, but holy moly! The controls, the restrictions on movement, it wasn't bad but man was it wild ride trying to learn how to play differently

As small as it is, just keeping the old voices speaks volumes on the quality imo. No cringey re-dubs, no attempt (and likely fail) to out-do the old setup. Just polish the hell out of it, tweak the controls and AI sight ranges to match, and don't OVER-edit it into a new age mess.

The thing is, there was more than one genius behind the greatness of MGS3 and those guys came back to work on this one. Kojima was never the ONLY visionary when it came to this series and it shows in both gameplay and the cutscenes. These guys know their stuff when it comes to MGS
