1/2 Update: I have finally beaten Chrysalis after an hour's worth of trying. My tactics were simple. Do nothing about the kidnappers except avoid them. You are only wasting ammo because they will get recalled soon. Don't use rockets because it will avoid them. I had rations equipped, and made a lot of requests for the drop offs. Keep getting deliveries even if you don't need them. You have to be quick about it, and pick your moment for the drop off.
I've played MGS, MGS2, MGS3, MGS.PO. Never have I encountered bosses as hard as the ones in this game. This Chrysalis, the chopper, the tank... FUCK! And this is bullshit! If you don't destroy the AI pod, it will "reinitialize" and you'd have to destroy 3 of its life bars... ALL OVER AGAIN!
yeah i found out a chaff grenade sorta works for like a few seconds, messing up the A.I. Using the rocket launcher with the lock on missiles works too cause it follows chrysalis
The reason it's so damn hard is the weapon switching in this game sucks. It doesn't let you map things out to the d-pad nor does the game pause when you switch items or weapons like in previous games. I got super pissed fighting this boss. This game doesn't let you turn up the aiming speed.
I remember randomly thinking about mgs2 in this fight and when i threw the chaff i was a happy ass nigga then i was like congratulations I'm going to kill you

the easy way how to defeat chrysalis boss 1)use machine gun 2)use rpg because it has 7 ammo 3)if chrysalis launch missile use rpg and hit in the red one
so you get the scraps for destroying the parts on the actual metal gear... so if i get to destroy the railgun it will appear in the memory chips and i'll be able to create my very own metal gear with those parts!?!?!
I mean in the Metal Gear franchise as a whole. And no he's not the same age as Solid Snake he was born sometime in the 1980s, Solid Snake was born in 1972 two years before Peace Walker. Raiden was able to take on Metal Gear RAY in Sons of Liberty and later in Metal Gear Rising.
Well your good on PSP i had to take alot of tries on bosses but on the HD collection on bosses i took no tries well only the cocoon but thats only because i did not feel like moving so i died when the missles hit.
@gksk8monk Simple! Just like Huey says "Shoot it and the memory boards should be unlocked after a while" Also if you do enough damage to it you disable it on the AI unit so it has less chance of tracking you or using heavy weapons.
Well i did not know you had to press the left trigger and then press sqaure i thought you could just press sqaure and they would be there but after a year of thinking they were easy and the boss became easy for me to beat.
And now, This game turns into....Time Crisis Razing Storm! (Is it just me or is every friggin boss enemy in Razing storm is a giant robot death machine?)
Anyone know where i can download this full game for free i've tried a couple websites but they just don't work i've been working on it all week thanks.
