I cannot wait until you rock out to BTS’ live performance of “Dionysus”. Check out the one on Mnet. There are some amazing rock elements in that song you might like. The extended rock version MV of “Fake Love” is so cool too. Oh, and “Not Today” MV is a banger, so sick!

So funny 😂 As a Metal fan, BTS made me really listen to pop for the first time. The storyline in their music videos is captivating, and they participating in the production and writing of their music makes everything so personal, every member loves music and that's why I like them so much. They are true artists. Hoping for more BTS reactions!

I hope you check their Fake love, Spring day, The truth untold (vocal line), Outro:tear (rap line), to get a better feel of them. BTS style ranges from pop/r&b/rap/ballad/edm/rock. They have 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Unlike a certain girl group you keep comparing them with, they write, produce and compose 99% of their own music. This particular song/video was a direct response to the entire kpop community who had (and still continue to) shunned them as becoming too westernised. They put in so many korean cultural references and made an intentionally crazy colourful video. Also all of BTS's song that you THINK are about romantic love are about self love. Also they have captions on their videos. Try Spring Day, Fake Love and their solo intro's (particularly Serendipity and Singularity) to get an idea of their eclectic style.

9:12 - I still ask myself that same question everytime, every MV. The "blue-haired" guy is RM, the leader, a brilliant rapper and producer. The charisma guy, rocking the suspenders and glasses and two-coloured hair is V: he has such a deep soulful voice (not really showing in this particular song) The bugs bunny T'shirt guy is J-Hope, wonderful dancer, rapper, also producer (cannot put into words how much I loved his solo song Daydream) You should react to more BTS! I'd recommend Fake Love, DNA and MIC Drop.

I'll do my best to do this from memory. For this video as they change their hair color a lot. RM (leader, rapper, producer 24 international age) - Blue hair Jin (vocalist, 26 international age) - Blonde Suga (rapper, producer, 26 international age) - Red hair JHope (rapper, producer, dance leader, 25 international age) - Bugs bunny sweater guy and has brownish black hair Jimin (vocalist, dancer, 23 international age) - Silverish hair V (vocalist, dancer, 23 international age) - Half blonde half pink Jungkook (vocalist, dancer, 21 international age) - pinkish red hair Korean age is a bit different. They all are amazing dancers, but some of them are part of what is called a dance line. Hope this helps some. Idol is a great song, but not one I usually recommend starting with. There is a lot of things only a fan would understand them referencing and even then only some die hard fans get. Like with a lot of their music and MVs I feel like a lot is open to interpretation too. Maybe next try Fake Love, Heartbeat or Blood Sweat and Tears. Not sure of what style of music you like, but BTS is very diverse. 💜💜💜💜 Hope you keep reacting.

they arent just the biggest korean act they are the biggest boyband in the world and one of the biggest music acts right now. they are completing with acts such as drake, ariana grande, and taylor swift, etc. they write, compose, and produce a majority of their music unlike the girl group u kept comparing them to. one of the reasons bts is so big/popular is because many people relate to their lyrics. they have songs about self love, self acceptance, self reflection, youth, dreams, society, the education system, empowerment, etc. if you would like to react to more i suggest fake love, boy with luv, and mic drop. all bts mvs have english captions.

Okay firstly thank you for reacting to BTS, secondly i understand I am female and normally go to guy kpop groups although still i am very fussy. Rarely do i really get into female groups. But some females go get me. Now onto Idol. BTS cover so many different genre's of music that will appeal to even the fussiest of music critics. The trouble with idol as a music choice is that its not for new reactors. The song idol has alot of traditional, dance, music, lyrics, symbolism in it. So its extremely bright and colourful but also confuses alot of people. Those already part of BTS fanbase army love Idol and respect the song so very much as it came at a time when they were entering the US market and were asked if they would release an english album and koreans asked will be loose itself out of Kpop. The answer to both questions is a definitive NO this song came around that time to remind both fans and non fans of BTS they are not going anywhere. The guy in the glasses is named "V" (Kim Taeyhung) he is second youngest of the group. He has a beautiful deep voice and if you listen to his solo "Singularity" you will definitely understand my meaning. Yes for the macho of guys its hard to avoid calling these guys either cute or handsome. They do wink and send there love to all fans alike male or female. The bugs bunny rocking shirt is Jhope, he is the lead dancer, assists with choreo and part of the rap team along with RM (leader & IQ genuis) and Suga. Dance wise you will find BTS has some of the hardest chore in Kpop, they also have the some of the best vocals in Kpop, regardless which BTS song you pick, you will find challenging music composition, vocals, lyrics or rap in it. Alot of them with all of the above. Welcome to BTS.

If you watch the m/v for boy with luv, the one that had the pink/blonde hair guy is the one with blue hair in that one..pleaseee react to that one..its amazing lol. And they have a HUGEE range of styles/sounds with good messages behind them. The one with the bluish hair in this video, his name is RM (real name: kim namjoon). He is the leader, but is in the middle when considering age. So the pink/blonde hair guy, his name is V (real name: kim taehyung). And then the one you liked, the one with the bugs bunny sweater, his name is J-HOPE (real name: jung hoseok). He is like "the hope" of the group / the sunshine.

The main strength of BTS is their conceptual theme of life philososophy, a life journey...so beautifully and poetically framed in pleasant to ear music.

We stan all of them!!!! There are 7 members of bts and real armys show love and support them all. It’s okay to have a bias though ... hard not to I think lol they’re all exceptionally talented, humble and just amazing dudes who have no idea how much they help people. I’d say try to pause if you want to talk so you can actually hear the voices. It’s not important to try to pick favorites IMO. They didn’t get here alone... took 7 dudes working their asses off day in and day out for years to become this force of nature... I think it’s important to support them all bc the toxic solo stans try to force their biases to be front and center... and none of the members would want that... v himself in the glasses says that he hopes people have love for all 7 members... bc they’re bts all of them together 💜

BTS is very versatile..i'm a metalhead too, got into BTS rabbit hole initially because of their rapline, but their vocal line turns out also amazing. I usually dont like pop much, but they really can pull off any genres: - Mic Drop - Fake Love - Dionysus - Boy with Luv - Singularity

Glad you are checking them out, they definitely deserve the success they’re having. There’s a history of pushback/criticized for not fitting the molds/expectations. They are good, hard working guys who have a dream for music. Anyway, first 3 guys rapping are the rappers of the group (two of which were in underground rap/hip-hop) and there are four vocalists. Their music run the gamut, like give or take a mix of R&B, rap/hip-hop, edm, pop, jazz, etc. You should definitely watch more, because it doesn’t give you the full taste of their music. They write and produce their music and stand for something, so they don’t quite fit the “boy band” thing that we’re used to think of...even out of the formula of KPop. Anyway, I highly recommend reacting to “Mic Drop” ft. Steve Aoki (500+ million views, a favorite), DNA, Fake Love, Not Today, Airplane Pt. 2. Just a helpful tip: ALWAYS have subtitles for any BTS video you watch, the lyrics are SO meaningful, deep, and well-thought out. IDOL is more a call to their Korean culture (hence the fans, colorful animals, dance moves - i.e. the "karate" jump move you saw - etc) I respect BTS for so many reasons (just to name a few): they are very culturally and socially aware, they are all inclusive with their music (i.e. american, african, latina dance moves/style and instruments etc..), they have SUCH a POSITIVE message with everything they put out (they are huge on bringing awareness to mental health, bullying, etc - they even spoke at the United Nations), and they GENUINELY care about all of their fans (no matter age, skin color, gender identity and so on). #Subscribed

But I try different artists to see what they have and sometimes I'm surprised by what I enjoy. RU-vid just recommended this video to me out of nowhere, so I have no idea of your musical preferences, but to get a better idea of their range of styles, I would recommend Fake Love, Save Me (a personal favorite), Mic Drop (Steve Aoki remix), Spring Day, and DNA.

BTS known for their amazing meaningful music. Yes, they produce, write, their own music. And they also known for great stage presence, great performers n great chemistry. Like you said, you noticed that BTS members have personalities, they have individuality. Its actually hard to see nowadays in groups even most male kpop groups. Seem like you like rock genre, so i suggest for fake love mv. Dionysus performance at music core has subtitle. The performance is so LIT. BTS are very versatile. They simply can do any genres they want. If you check out more and more BTS songs, you would realize how versatile and talented they are. What's so nice about these boys is that they love to explore different genres, and I love that. They still manage to have their own brand of music, and it's so unique. 13:22 j-hope (Jung Hoseok), the confidence and charisma of this guy is amazing (especially on stage, great performer!) That's my guy, dance leader/performance leader, main dancer, rapper, sub-vocalist and also one of the main writers/composers within BTS (he has 89 writing credits at The Korea Music Copyright Association). The whole rap line are the backbone of this group, RM - the leader (a blue hair guy) has 133 writing credits and the guy with the lisp (Suga) that you like his voice he has 87 writing credits and is probably the the most skilled as a producer , he can play piano really well. All rappers released their own solo work (solo free mixtapes) as well. The rap line are my fav. They gained my additional respect as the most creative when it comes to making songs, although they all contribute, the vocal line too and all of them are passionate about music. I truly love the whole group. Thanks for this reaction and I can relate somehow because I'm also a former metalhead, but nowadays much more into classic rock, prog rock blues and jazz..... and for some time now also into BTS :-)

"Fire", "Ddaeng" And "Mic Drop" are all badass aggressive BTS songs.. "Ddaeng" Is a gifted song to Army from BTS that Army loves SO MUCH we want to BUY it!! Glad you enjoyed the song that turned my kids and grandkids into BTS fans. I've been a huge fan of BTS since 2016.

Lyrics are so important when it comes to BTS and something that might help you if you do more reactions to them is this: if you are thinking it's a love song, 90% of the times it's not. They try to put deeper meanings on their lyrics such as self-love self-acceptance (their last trilogy of albums is called Love Yourself) :)

Along with the great music they produce, a lot of why their fans love them is because of their determination. They fought really hard to get where they are today. Most people think the same way that they are overrated, but believe me they are not, i've never been into stan things, i used to love or like some groups or their music, but never have i ever been like that... BTS won hearts, they became a part of our daily routine, the leader Kim Namjoon aka RM (meaning:real me) once said: "i used to hate myself, but because of you(army) i'm starting to love myself, So please use me, use BTS to love yourself"... They write and produce their own songs most of the times...They care about their fans, they helped us with a lot of things, their message, presence & laughs...were remedey to our souls...
