Hair is often. Correlated to heaviness idk why but in bands where the lead vocalist has long hair and cuts it they get softer then they grow it back out and boom break out the drop f 7 strings.

@@JSmith91 i really dont understand what happened. the article i read said he left due to creative stagnation, other article said he was kicked out coz basically he took a break from the venom tour to the point bmfv recorded dont need you with their temporary touring drummer jason bowld. then moose decided he wants to go rejoin the band again but the band decided to replace him with jason bowld instead

It's sad that the last album wasn't more like crawling (deluxe version) and don't need you. Felt like those were closest to what I've grown up hearing from bullet and honestly loved both of those. Definitely stoked for this album based on knives and parasite though!

True, but what I don't like is that they musically just sound like a generic modern metal band. They don't sound like on poisen oder scream aim fire anymore. Which, depending on who you ask, is either a good or a bad thing. I would have loved if they go back to that metal core kinda thing but have a new twist on it. Hard to discribe, but im happy with what we got.

Or Matt tuck just writes music that fit his personal circumstances, ie a failing marriage over a couple albums...

I think that's why they're self-titling this next album

And rightfully so. I’ve been a fan since 2005 when I first heard them in NFS MW. I’ve listened to a lot of their stuff, even Temper Temper, that most of the people didn’t like. I liked Venom. But Gravity was just a radio friendly shit of an album. I am not being a hypocrite, I just voice my honest opinion as a long time fan. So if all the shit made them switch to more heavy and angry shit - it’s a win. Especially considering that most bands nowadays tend to go heavy. I am all up for it.

I guess their heart is in it, they Made that music before and judging by the Interviews before dropping this Song they Look rather proud and happy when talking about the New record. Gravity was an experiment and a Personal record for Matt, this stuff on the other hand is what Bullet was about from the beginning, maybe not as heavy but Overall..

Their heart hasn’t been in it since 2008. Why do you think Jay and Moose both have criticised them after leaving? If you just listen closer to everything after Fever you can hear them really scraping the barrel with riffs and completely skipping solos as often as possible. Gravity was the most insulting attempt at a money grab I’ve ever seen a band try to pull off. This song is really dull, the riff is bland, the drumming is stale and the vocals are really bad. I don’t get why anyone still buys into the Bullet circus act, they are only bothered about their bank accounts.

Knives for sure sounds like a modern BFMV track, has the split clean dirty vocals, the riffs, the drums. All are all elements of Hand Of Blood EP/ The Poison era Bullet Parasite is something different for sure, but I don't think that's a bad thing, its been clear for years that Bullet have been struggling to find a style that fits. At a guess Parasite will be the most aggressive song on the album and I think releasing Knives and Parasite is a statement, its saying "this is us bringing you that fire" something that has been missing from Bullet songs for years IMO... I don't think they could go more aggressive, I also expect a few of their slower songs as well... An album needs balance. That's what made HoB/Poison/Scream Aim Fire/Fever work, there was heavy shit then there was stuff where its completely stripped back..

They're definitely missing a big chorus like everything on The Poison
