This has been very highly requested since we did Devil Trigger, and even I hadn't really heard this song yet! So here we are, back at it again and boy I am glad that we listened to this track! It's definitely a big hit and we love it

When you asked if Mick Gordon did the bass, it's like that because Casey Edwards is a fan/pupil of Mick himself. He took liberties from Mick and used it in the creation of Bury the light

If I remember Casey's interview well, it should be noted that the "Mick Gordon parts" in Bury The Light wasn't consciously based off Mick's stuff, though as you said it makes perfect sense. Sometimes things just sneak into whatever you're creating without you realising it!

It actually is solo refering to one part of Bury The Light, but it has serious Devil Trigger vibe in it. Listen closely and try to hum "bury the light deep within, cast aside there's no coming home", it's all coming toghether and you'll hear the difference between solo and DT. Genius part of the song by the way.

@@ZbuntowanyGwindon yea dude i know and agree, but it's also a direct reference to part of the chorus of DT where it goes "embrace the darkness that's within me, no hiding in my shadows anymore" since DT came out first. But yea 1000% its genius work from Casey. Dude is a beast lol.

The chorus kicks in once you get an S ranking, and there's nothing more motivating than hearing 'I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING' as you dive into 5 demons and shred them

Well, Casey Edward has been interviewed and he said one of his main inspiration is Periphery. Both Casey Edwards and Victor Borba are hugely influenced by Periphery.

Usually when i heard "scratched" voice tones on music it's a low tone music like murmurs,but this dude he SCREAMED with this voice,he not only screamed,he MAINTENED his voice like this and he made it to a higher note WHILE having the "scratch" tone it's not even on my league of thoughts how hard this is to do

The last three minutes of this song were born out of Casey's pure love for Devil May Cry. He didn't know if he'd be able to compose for the series again, so he poured his heart and soul (along side vocalist Victor Borba) into those final minutes.

The song is so different compared to other DMC songs that it instantly made it's mark. This and Subhuman have to be my favourite songs from the whole DMC series. Also guys you should give a shot at Dusk, both from reaction and gaming. Spoilers...Andrew Hulshult made the music for that game and it kicks some serious butt!

Oh yeah, this song definitely has a distinct sound so far that stands out from the rest I have noticed. I really like the sound and feel of it, plus the how well the lyrics are done. Dusk has been mentioned quite a few times and I got my eyes on it. I want to sample some tracks for sure and it sounds like it's up my alley

This song has a few motifes from previous DMC songs. Everyone talks about the outro being Devil Trigger, but there's a part reminiscent to the bridge for Devils Never Cry, and I believe a couple references to Never Surrender too.

Victor Borba has a great vocal combination. Almost like he's got Benjamin Burnley, Chris Daughtry, and David Draiman's combined with how he does is vocal fry and how he transitions out of it. Great control as well despite massive fry output.

This song has so many dope and unexplainable things then its calm and melancholy part with the demon & human voices as it leads towards a more upbeat, emotional and hopeful-ish vocal part just has something I've really never felt before especially to this extent, all other lyrical themes from other games dont feel the same anymore.

the hex girls from scooby doo are singer-songwriters Jennifer Hale (as lead singer and guitarist Sally "Thorn" McKnight), Jane Wiedlin (as drummer and back-up singer Dusk) and Kimberly Brooks (as keyboardist and back-up singer Luna). Hale, Wiedlin, and Brooks write and perform original songs for the band. there is also the hex girls based out of cedar falls that has no relation at all to the scooby doo hex girl I only know the second one because I gett annoyed when looking for scooby doo hex girls
