Dan has covered Elvis Presley's Love Me Tender. It was recorded for and dedicated to one of his subscribers who wrote and explained her husband was dying. She didn't ask Dan to do it, she just asked for permission to play one of his covers at the funeral. He went one better and made the cover for and her husband. Great singer, great hair and a heart of gold. ❤

He said he only got better through all his years of hard work. I disagree with him. Dan had the gift from the beginning. He just needed to perfect it, plus maturity helped too. I totally agree with you about him just starting in the beginning and covering every song possible! He not only has the voice, but he puts in the time to understand the dynamics of a song and not f*@k that up! And then Victor the Guitar Nerd is another musical genius! I’ve listened to Dan singing this so many times and this is the only way this song should be sung….. When they sing this at midnight mass on Christmas Eve…. I will want the death growl at “Let all within us”. That was not a gratuitous or obligatory death growl, just for the sake of metal….. there’s so much symbolism in doing it at THAT moment.✨D🗡️V✨
