That guy standing up is one of the top opera singers in the world. She was 15 when she started these competitions. Very sad but triumphant life story. Her best work might be in Russian. Both rechenka and the crow are exceptional showcases of her talent

At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. Don't know why, but watching this performance always brings tears to my eyes. Only discovered this amazingly talented singer yesterday and cannot get enough of her voice. From what I've found out she is a natural contralto, and also a polyphonic, meaning she can produce two notes at the same time. Truly breath-taking.
