if i had morden army i'd make this world better... just sneak into to bases, minimize enemy deaths and civis, and outright make peace with the planet... i'd take over and try to make this planet more livable while taking less lifes in the process.
So many people commenting when they don't know about the game... Especially when they don't know you get invincibility frames after you leave a vehicle. (Nor knowing you get them every transition period between stages). Though, I don't know the difference between No Death and Perfect Run's, but it seems too much to nitpick on just by word choice. *Facepalm* Friend showed me this run today after I finished Metal Slug 7 with him. Nice run. Metal Slug 2 and 4 were probably the hardest for me to do an perfect run on also.

Honestly saying, I was so disappointed that no one knew I was deliberately hit by attacks when getting an invincibility frame such that they all thought I should be dead at 2:31 and 28:31 lol I defined my playing was a perfect run just becoz I've successfully gotten metalish combo in every mission, not only no death XDD BTW, i am so glad to know one who know about the rule of the game leave an explanatory comment here, thank you so much^^
DAliasReaper metal slug 2? i've done that without dying myself... but i'm surprised you didn't mention metal slug 3, which has the most ridiculous final boss of any game ever.
Goreface69 even MS-X is not that difficult for doing a perfect run. the only issue with MS-X is the very last boss... it's difficult to stay alive for long enough until the metal slug arrives (then it becomes easy). MS-3 is the most difficult for a perfect run, the boss of the 4th mission and the final boss both have random attacks which are impossible to dodge *consistently*
In one of my videos I played Metal Slug 4 in Split Mode with Xbox360 Wireless Joypad & Xbox360 Guitar Hero 3 Wireless Guitar Controller. No cheats, no autofire or save states were used. By the way, yout channel is great man!

Whaddya mean? In this game, Tarma and Eri were both assigned differently, but manages to help the others out. If you take the highway, Tarma will be in a truck, just simply using a Handgun but is AI unharmed.

Or only the first half of the laser will kill you?
Great playthrough, although it would be nice to show the two different endings. The food one where the heroes eat til they get fat and the teary hospital scene if you get injured at the end are great additions to this game. Kind of a shame the company which made this game released it during bankruptcy proceedings.
Nice run but one question: were you using the turbo controller feature? I know people can shot quickly, even I can do that but I can only shot THAT fast for only a few seconds before getting tired and my fingers begin to hurt.
Man, I really wish I could play these game with such a smooth gameplay and framerate, but sadly all I have access to is the xbox versions, which are choppy as all hell. Amazing run, too!
Wait a minute, how do you stand still while re-orienting the aim? For me, if I rotate the aim, I move the character simultaneously; it is one of those things that bother me.

You're good at playing this game Takanashi. Mission 3 starts to get harder in the boss part as General Morden's large tank and helicopters are quick and unpredictable, that's why I ended up using tool assist in my favorite emulator all the time(I used combination of frame advance and savestates in Kawaks), while you managed to beat the mission 3 boss without dying. What emulator did you use to play this game?
+AGKfan64 lol The last time I TOUCHED this game was 1 year ago lol I firstly played mslug series by mame. I actually don't play online games so I know nothing about those emulator... I played mslug series just becoz my friend suggested me and I occasionally fell in love with mslug. I subsequently changed to use Kawak also becoz my friend suggested it lol But honest to say, Kawaks is way more convenient than mame.... the savestates function is equivalent to chances to practice lol Once you die somewhere, you can restart there again and again until you overcome dying there. I used 3-4 years to defeat all the traps For mission 3 boss, the helicopters are actually negligible... unless you are doing score research As you see, I always approach the tank when the turning -scissor-stuff turns back. This act can make the take move backward, then you will have more space to dodge those chasing rockets and tank crashing attack... and again, the helicopters are totally negligible... lol
What I mean of time-consuming is.... if I choose zombie route in mission 4 and straight pirate route in 5, I probably will need to spend more than 1 hr to run through the whole game... that's not what I want. But I DID attempt those routes long long time ago and I DID record them and post to RU-vid. Unfortunately no one watch them
The first level is easy but the first boss, HMMM, I don't know. Even with that part where the rebel infantry is dispatched from the airship and the missiles are launched as described in 3:26, it seems that the enemy is everywhere and sometimes, the enemy might shoot me in midair.

NOT PERFECT you get the bad ending, Fio was touched by the explosions and you need to escape to get the good ending, Umm, oh wait, those oldmands was retarding you in the explosions and is impossible save them and escape?
LENNON SAVE at 10:53 he/she used the extremely short invulnerability that happens while your jump out the vehicle so he/she was invulnerable for the time in air. as for 13:54, well it's a vehicle.
ive tried and tried this one so many times, and i just don't like it. I love every other metal slug but this one. Its just not enjoyable to play imo. Its also extremely hard to memorize boss patterns and stages in general cus it just constantly keeps spawning guys on you. That being said awesome fucking run tho dude definitely the most challenging one out their. Getting this good mustve took ages
