My beiter plunger tip is kind of rough and make squeaking noise when I draw my bow which drives me nuts. I'm glad you made that tip switch.

this is 100% necessary for me now - upgraded to Uukha limbs 38lb with aluminium arrows. Everyshot, the Beiter plastic tip is melting and members and I can smell it, cant be good. Thanks for the info.

I've actually have already done this in the past, interchange beiter plunger parts, with a cheaper plunger parts, to change plunger colors, to match my different bows. FX brand plungers, resemble beiter plungers, in appearance, they have the same plunger bodies!

Don't you have any doubt, that the metal plunger tip scratches a groove into the carbon of the shaft within some hundred shots?

Ralf Johann most people complain that the tips with the Beiter plungers dig the grooves on the carbon arrows. I’ve heard metal tips do better to prevent this. I know Brady uses an AAE plunger tip in his Beiter to prevent the grooves, and I think that’s a metal tip. I may be wrong though.

@@cameronsenay882 the AAE plunger uses Teflon tips. The better tips have silica, which is more abrasive than metal

@@tradarcher300 The AAE plunger comes with an aluminium tipped stem installed for carbon arrows, and a teflon tipped stem for aluminium arrows. Think about that "noise" Anthony mention in this video as he's drawing, that's friction, that's causing wear. As long as the metal doesn't have sharp corners it should wear carbon slower than Beiter plastic stem.

Anthony how are you preforming surgery on plungers without your on staff Dr. assisting you? Or you assisting her? Can you even do elective surgery during the quarantine? Don’t end up in jail.
