If you are looking for another cover, they covered "I'll be missing you" for a BBC One peformance. It was so good as the arrangement they pulled off as well as paying homange to he touching classic of P.Diddy and Fail Evans, as well as musical hints to Sting. I highly reccomend it

Jin’s voice was Beautiful

Jin’s vocals and high notes are so amazing and powerful ❣️. At 5:04, Taehyung(V) was doing the high octave while Suga was doing the low octave. The rap-line actually did the lower octaves in this song while the vocal line did the higher octaves.

Fortunately they totally hit it off when they met and Chris even signed and gifted World Wide Handsome Jin his favorite guitar. (Yes, he actually calls him the whole entire nickname when he mentions him. 🤭) - Jin trended as "Pink Mic Guy" after this performance because of his powerful vocals. - Suga didn't do the high notes, that was actually V. Suga did the low ones. - V's had to train his voice to go higher than a standard barytone because his voice is that much lower than the other vocalists'. - They have done other great covers, both song covers and dance performances. This was one of my favs. But suga did the lows not the high he did the low with V and Jin. JHope did low ans RM low the rest were higher. And I agree how can cold play do this after BTS LOL but both are awesome at it.

OMG one of my favorites from them. It's not their original song, but one of the songs showcasing their gorgeous vocals and harmonization. 'Dude, what?' Yeah, I feel you. I was blown away by Jin's gorgeous vocals and vibrato. And I agree RM's lower register harmonizing with Jin's beautiful falsetto is a chef's kiss. They do many cover songs individually, but not many as OT7.

This is the song that hooked me into the BTS rabbit hole some months ago. Of course I'd heard of BTS (Dynamite) but was actually clicking on to my nth viewing of Hwarang clips with V and Jin singing. Just by accident I noticed the clip of their cover of "Fix You" and I like Coldplay so I clicked on it. My thought process was like: hmm nice voice - there's my sweet boy V - oooh nice harmony and that voice! who is that guy? - another lovely voice, these guys are good - back to first guy - now using lovely head tone, who is this guy? - nice harmony - sweet V again - another nice harmony -- whoa higher harmony with head tone, who is this guy? - love this instrumental they must be using the original Coldplay music - lovely harmony - seriously, WHO IS THIS GUY!!! - lovely voices and sweet V's baritone at close but WHO IS THAT GUY??? I am of course referring to the three aspects of Jin's voice in this star turn. I'm not alone since "pink mic guy" went viral. They included this cover in their MTV Unplugged program and Jimin explained that the song comforted them in the pandemic so they hoped it would bring comfort to their fans as well. I have been happily deep-diving into their work since and, on top of their excellent performances, their other content - Run BTS, Bon Voyage and In the Soop and the various behind the scenes and extra videos have just confirmed that these guys are such goofy, lovable but relentlessly hard-working good and humble guys. I love them all but keep a special place in my heart for my sweet boys, V and Jin. Thank you so much for your reaction and your obvious enthusiasm and respect for Jin. He is so humble and self-deprecating that it is so good hearing other people praise him.

As others have said, BTS and Chris Martin are good friends and also did a collab under Coldplay called My Universe with a couple of behind the scenes videos. They have done many covers, especially Jungkook....my favorite is 'Falling'. He often goes on VLive and will just chill, talk, and sing all kinds of music for ARMY, as do the other members. I think what shocked me most is learning today that most of them ALSO have worked during this time to receive Bachelor's and some, even Master's degrees. Their BBC performance of I’ll Be Missing You was just as good. Jimin stands out with his high range in that one and he will leave you 🤯🤯🤯🤯 because he makes it sound so damn effortless.

Whenever BTS does covers, they always bring it to the next level. It's in their DNA never to do music that embarass. When Seo Taiji asked BTS to remake 'Come Back Home', they came up with the best rendition. I recommend you to hear both the original & BTS version.

This song is already beautiful, in their voices then is a masterpiece. And I particularly love so much Jin's voice here (not just here, but you got it).

I know most people describe Taehyung's voice as deep, but I think the unique characteristic is its smokiness.

They've never done the song again. But they did do a song with Coldplay, My Universe. Another great cover they did was I'll Be Missing You on BBC Live.

They did this beautifully. You do know that BTS collab'd with ColdPlay. During the pandemic, Chris Martin went to Korea and worked with the guys to write and record My Universe. The MV is on Coldplay's channel and the behind the scenes is on BangtanTV channel. It's worth watching to see them talking highly of each other and to see them working together. There are a Lot of solo covers (like Jungkook doing Falling by Harry Styles as an example). Only other group cover I recall is "I'll be missing you" (I see others mention it as well). I actually like that one better than this one, but you are correct that the harmonies in this one are absolutely amazing.

During V's ang suga's part it was V singing the higher part. Anyway this cover is so heart-warming.

This is absolutely the best cover for me. I am a long time fan of Coldplay. I finally saw them in concert in June. My daughter, who is also Army, and I saw them in Philly and it was an amazing concert! We got to hear My Universe live!!! The best 2 1/5 hour concert I have seen, and I have been to a lot of concerts in my life. I hope to one day add a BTS concert to that list! This cover is what made me Army. No lie. I had heard of BTS, but never really listened to their music. In late December of 2020, my daughter started to get into them and I decided to do some research on them. Then, I literally made it my mission to learn their names! 🤣 I started to watch some of their videos and some YT reactions. Then I watched the MTV special in February 2021 with my daughter and was really impressed with their live vocals. When they started to play the opening of Fix You, I started geeking out! I was so blown away by their vocals!! In my eyes, BTS did an amazing cover of this song and I definitely play this on repeat. Thanks for your reaction to this song, John. That was so beautiful, it's a shame that the German DJ didn't see it the same way after this he went on his radio show and said BTS should be sent to North Korea for this and he also said BTS should catch COVID as they brought it in to the world he got so much backlash that he said he was just joking I think that was just an excuse on his part as he has never said sorry. I really enjoyed this reaction. After watching your 2019 MMA reaction I looked for this because if you loved the harmonies in that it seemed you'd love this. This was amazing, and the fact they got backlash for it is ridiculous.

In my childhood I was a fan of Coldplay and now I'm an army and I feel like this two amazing artists share the same vibe about music, love, good vibes and they share what are the best in music. I love BTS and Coldplay 💜

It’s not often a cover of a song is better than the original, but in my opinion this one is it. This was the third BTS song I heard when I first discovered them last summer and I was totally blown away. The beautiful harmonies and effortlessness of the performance as a whole gets to me every time I hear it, which has probably been a least a hundred times by now. For those who think that they can’t sing really need to see this performance. I would have never suspected that they weren’t all fluent in English and was surprised after to hear that they weren’t at the time. This is a masterpiece, hands down. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

BTS and Coldplay have such a beautiful friendship. They seem to enjoy each other's company very much. They first met when Chris flew to Korea to record "My Universe". They were instantly impressed with each other. They met again in New York when BTS spoke at the UN and Coldplay had a concert there. They jammed together and had a meal together. Their conversation led to Suga making a remix of "My Universe". They met again at the AMAs and performed the song together. BTS also had a concert in LA and Chris appeared as a guest to perform the song. They met again in Washington when BTS was invited to the Oval Office and Coldplay had a concert. I think one of them or both had a schedule the next day, but they delayed their departure so they could get together.

Suga was doing the lower octave with V, not the high. He's very open about the fact that he doesn't have a good higher register lol. All the rappers took the lower octaves and the vocalists took the higher.

With Jin's vocal the high CSharp I have goosebumps. All their voices are so so good. This is a very great song by Coldplay very proud of the boys on how they harmonizing their vocals with the rap line. They put that song into another level. If you want BTS to cover your song, all you know it is no longer be yours. I think they have great production in combinations with these great voices. 👍 check out Missing You by PDADDY they covered it as well.

Did you know that a radio DJ from Germany I think or some other said that this cover from my babies was a "sacrilege" to cold plays fix you? I wanted to punch him when I heard him say that, and I tv minion from over their reference that radio show to Cold play LIVE on an interview, saying something like "are you ashamed of those kids destroying your song like that?" And Cris Martin and another band member got VERY angry with the tv thing person and said that this cover has been the best one EVER for this song. So, he defended our boys, still does

You're the first reactor I've seen that did not have to cover the video or do effects to get the video uploaded, Kudos. I loveeee this cover, we know BTS can sing but it was really unique in the way they did the line distribution and incorporated the rappers and their vocal range in a song like this. I like that they always challenge themselves to try something new.

I always feel really emotional when listening to their cover. As good as the original is I have to say in my personal opinion I think their cover is so much better and hits harder. Everything they do is top tear. Truly amazing 💜

Baby Army here. Being only vaguely familiar with BTS before, I stumbled upon this cover a few months ago and I was just blown away. I mean, Jin’s high part at the end! Goosebumps! Soon after that, I watched JK sing his a** off in James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke and that pretty much did it. After that I started looking up more and more BTS stuff and down the rabbit hole I went. I’m now completely hooked and I love discovering new songs and learning more about the guys. Love you reactions by the way.

BTS have done a few covers over the years but most of them are of other kpop groups. They also did "I'll Be Missing You" which is a beautiful one. They have a few live stages of there own songs where they are just sitting/standing and singing and they are all magnificent. "Stay Gold", "Film Out", "Your Eyes Tell" and, of course, their "Tiny Desk Concert".

Love them all but jungkooks less textbook style of singing is just top tier. I love that he can do so many different sounds and styles to the point that peoooe always think they’re hearing another vocalist but it is so often just him lol there’s a reason they always tell jk to imitate them… bc he can sound exactly like each of them …. It’s very unique but I love how versatile it really makes him
