Metal Vocalist First Time Hearing 5 Seconds of Summer TEETH 

5SOS are THE BAND! They're sooooo talented, they all sing, even the drummer (Ashton, I love you). They have a great discography from the start. You should check them from the first album so you can tell the growth and different artistic directions the 4 have. It's just beautiful 🤌 I can't say I'm a huge fan, but man, this band never disappoints. I lost track of them for a few years, but I really love them as humans, musicians, and artists. Their lyrics, music, never never disappoints.

this song and Easier are even better in their "Live from the Vault" performances imo. They've been around for over 10 years, so they have a lot of good stuff and there's a lot of evolution over time. As people have said in the comments, they all sing sometimes, but Luke is the main vocalist on a majority of the songs. Michael is the guitarist, Calum the bassist, and Ashton is the drummer. They all can play multiple instruments and have good vocals which is cool. Luke and Ashton even each have a solo album.

All four of them sing to varying degrees (especially on their newest album) but on this song and most songs off calm are mainly luke the lead singer and guitarist. The one you like right off the bat is michael he does rhythm guitar. Calum is the bassist and ashton is the drummer. Cant wait for you to explore 5sos more ive loved them since 2013 ❤

5 seconds of summer is a band of artists. talent everywhere you look. everyone sings everyone plays piano guitar drums bass. you would be surprised if you analyze them further. and that CALM record is one of the best. I personally have been a fan for 10 years 💚

I always love new people reacting to 5SOS. To answer your question: Luke is considered the lead singer. He's definitely one of the best pop/rock vocalist out there. His vocals are insane. Calum is the bassist and does backing vocals (I consider him the 1st backing vocalist because you hear him the most). Michael is the lead guitarist & backing vocals. Ashton is the drummer/percussionist. I saw that you did a live reaction and they are so much heavier live which makes sense considering they make songs to play them live. Speaking about live performances, members will play additional instruments. For example, Luke will play the guitar and sometimes the piano. And Calum will play the synth and sometimes the piano too. 5SOS is also known for their harmonies. 5SOS is a pop/rock band. They used to be punk-pop (1st and 2nd album) then switched to alternative pop (according to them, on their 3rd album, Youngblood). Their 4th album released in 2020 during lockdown. And their 5th album released at the end of 2022. Through their discography, you will find they have a bunch of rock & guitar heavy songs. Been a fan of them for over 10 years and I still have no idea what Ashton is playing here haha I love this music video, Teeth is so sick and yeah, it's definitely dark like it has thriller vibes for me. Definitely recommend you watch the Live from The Vault version so you can appreciate the vocals and instruments even more. Other songs you should listen: Easier (the Live from the Vault version, the album version is not as good) and More (from the album Youngblood).

I really hope you will check out more 5 Seconds of Summer. They have covered quite a few genres during the over 10 years they were a band so especially when first listening to them it is really interesting to hear all those different genres and how you can sometimes even make out multiple genres in the same song. I personally think the best way to listen to their albums (if you want to do that) is backwards (start with their newest and go back to their oldest) In addition the Drummer/Vocalist and the Main Vocalist/Guitarist also have a solo album. I strongly recommend Superbloom (the drummers album) to everyone since it is very unknown, pretty experiential but has a sound that is as unique as you can be these days Well, I really hope for more 5 Seconds of Summer reactions from you because right now it is very quite on RU-vid when it comes to reactions to them since multiple Reactors have now finished most of their songs

I absolutely love 5SOS. I'm seeing them live twice this year. I would recommend listening to Easier live from the vault. The teeth live from the vault was amazing as well. 5SOS is an amazing group that have been around for over 10 years! I first heard them back in 2013 when they opened for One Direction here in Australia and have loved them ever since, and seen them grow so much. 🥰 They are even better live switching up how they perform songs and how much they have fun. I found you through your BTS reactions but i stanned 5sos even before I was an ARMY, so this video is such a joy for me ♡ P.S.: Luke (lead singer) plays guitar in their older albums !!! The other members also used to contribute more vocals than they do now, but in recent years they’ve made the decision to have Luke take most of the vocal lines. I’ve seen them live before and they’re amazing!

Their album CALM is the one this song is from, it’s their darkest one, I’d recommend easier live from the vault. Their latest album 5SOS5 is great too, I’d recommend blender or Me Myself and I from that one

They started out in High School in Australia. 3 of them were at a Christian High School which had a very big musical influence/ section. Then they met Ash the drummer who is 2 years older. They all sing and can play all the instruments.

Teeth was the very first song that i ever listen to and it made me really like 5sos!!! Ive been a fan for a yr now💖😊

You'll need to check out a lot. They have a very diverse discography over 5 albums. And live versions are usually even better. They say so themselves and think of playing live as their core.

I feel like you would LOVE 5sos if you love instrument focused bands and good lyrics! They all play multiple instruments and sing, although Luke (the lead singer) is the one singing in most of their songs in the last 2 albums and the others are doing backing vocals or harmonies (they're all fantastic in their solos and at backing vocals though). You liking Michael (the guitarist) immediately is great lmao 10/10 taste 😂Their lyrics are so well thought out and almost poetic in a way for a lot of their songs (i feel like their albums CALM and 5SOS5 are good examples of that) you'd really enjoy them! And one last thing is that their music is so much heavier (and better) live, they're a live band more than anything, that's when you see just how good they are. This song had a "live from the vault" version which is how they play it live and how most of their music sounds live, but if you're curious about that they have 3 live albums released on spotify. Loved the video, can't wait to see more!!!

Random but I heard this song so often at work or so but never realized it was a 5sos song😂 Note: I only used to listen their debut album years ago and haven't really been keeping up with the rest of their music.

In their earlier discography all four members Luke - vocals/guitar, Michael - guitar/vocals, Calum - bass/vocals, and Ashton - drums/vocals sang pretty much equally. In their later stuff like that ones you mentioned Luke does the majority of the vocal. Most of them also play multiple instruments. Early on they were called a boy band though they write their own music and play instruments. Youngblood is a great sone. If you want something older of theirs I highly recommend Good Girls, She Looks So Perfect, and my personal favorite Voodoo Doll (One Mic, One Take). The song with One Ok Rock "Take What You Want" is one of my favorites but it is mostly One Ok Rock. I was big into 5SoS before I got into K-Pop.

They have more metal sounding versions of two of their songs just look for a video that says (live from the vault)
