And this song was the moment I became a Swiftie. In 2018, she did her Reputation tour and I bartended at Arrowhead. I was indifferent to her before seeing her perform! And that song, live, grabbed me!!

The live version of this song is so much better. Eras Tour she turned it into a rock song. Her bass player steps out and goes ham on that thing and it’s awesome. The Reputation Album is much better live as a whole.

It’s currently tied with Red for me, but when Rep TV drops, I’ll make my final decision 🤣 Also, her Reputation Stadium Tour was a blast (my first Taylor Swift concert), and I highly recommend watching it all! I’m gonna echo “we are never getting back together” from the 1989 tour if you want to hear Taylor rock. And you want to hear Taylor rock because it’s cool af. Her vocals in that performance are probably her best belts she’s ever done. It’s so damn good.

I think Joseph Kahn directed all the videos from 1989 and Reputation. All of them are crazy good. A big shift from the Hallmark Cards days of Our Song, Mine, or Tim McGraw. First sort of edgier one was for I Knew You Were Trouble, but a different dirctor on that.

For a rock sound, you could look at the re- arranged songs from Red that she did live for her 1989 tour: We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, and I Knew You Were Trouble. Very different from the album or Red Tour tour versions; and Taylor rocks a pretty good Fender Jaguar. . . . .

First newer Taylor song I've given a try since 'Shake it off'. Her voice just doesn't fit the vibe of the video for me. Looking at the video I feel like I should have chills but I just don't. Not saying her voice is bad by any means but her voice tone overall is too floaty and light for me to feel bad ass vibes. It pulls me out of the dark visuals. Not a bad song tho

1:31 This song is a combination of styles, rap, hip hop, alternative, pop, etc. Her official videos are all super intricate and her visions of the songs visually. She quite literally has her hands in every single aspects of her music up to and including directing, producing, writing (every single song she either wrote alone or with a collaboration. 😱👏🙌🤘 I don’t think a lot of people truly understands just how talented she is. ☺️ (not saying you don’t, just in general 😅😊☺️)
