This was filmed at FOX_FEST like Ratatata. I was in the pit both days, so I got to see this live and it was fantastic. BND wasn't previously a song that I was all that fond of, but seeing it live in this setting really gave me a whole new appreciation for it. The way they presented it with all the lighting effects really made it spectacular, and I knew it was going to look great on video. Tim and Scott looked like they were having blast getting to be up there jamming with Babymetal after having to wait so long to finally get to perform it together. Tim revealed at Download UK that there is a new Babymetal/Polyphia collab in the works, with Babymetal guesting on an upcoming Polyphia track. One of Su-metal's great vocal talents is her ability to give her voice different colours and feels from one song to another. Even Moa has commented on her ability to change her voice to sound how she did when she was younger when she sings old songs like Doki Doki Morning. Babymetal have played Brand New Day a few times here and there over the last few years, so the choreo for it was created a while ago. All they would have had to practice was the performance with Tim and Scott.
I was thinking along very similar lines as you. This as always was perfectly presented. Original choreo, spectacular timed lighting. How do you bring a collab like this together with two incredibly busy bands? I mean they didn't get together the morning of the show. Write the music, get all the lighting cues, music to the Kamis. This took some work and it was beautiful. God bless 'em all for making this happen. One wish though, maybe 32 beats of guitar time each for Tim and Scott?
Well, Babymetal have performed this song before without the guys. It sound very similar to the album version in the sense that everyone on stage sticked very much to the original song. Which means they would integrate with very little practice.
Testament to Tim and Scott that someone can say to them, "Write guitar parts in your style but for a Babymetal song" and they can come up with those. Tim apparently said he wants Babymetal to be on Polyphia's next album so we could see the creativity working in the other direction!
Because you have been dragging your feet getting to Metal Galaxy and the Legend Metal Galaxy concert. Just kidding but I think that is next in your Babymetal concert journey.
Welcome back John.🦊🤘🌅 Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. They did it again yesterday at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. your ears are very clear, you know SU-METAL sings in a different style. she plays with many different rhythms in his vocals. she almost performed it like the audio version. but this is much cooler than the audio version

It's been such a pleasure seeing how Babymetal is expanding their range and somehow producing a new mature image (without losing the core of what they are) since they "came back" with Momometal making a real trio again. The chemistry is great.

Joachim Brodén from Sabaton almost wore out his voice in a sound studio in Osaka when he was recording his part for 'Oh! MAJINAI'. The guys from Polyphia nailed this song with the first version they sent to BABYMETAL. : )
If it would be new and unwxpected, but this is more an old song that they found in the attic. What really was interesting that they already have a new Song with Babymetal forvtheirvalbum and that they are waiting for a new Collab. But itblooks like Amuse could use a new Method for Collabs. The song itself is not new, but appears on the 2019 album of BM, 'Metal Galaxy'. At that time, two guitarists from Polyphia, Tim and Scott, arranged and played the guitar parts. Since then, this live collaboration has been the stuff that the fans have been waiting for. I read an article in 'Rolling Stone' on the internet that when the two bands met in Las Vegas about three weeks before FOX_FEST, they were still undecided about whether this collaboration could happen. But from there, Tim and Scott apparently spent time of practising it. They are professionals, after all. Thank you from Japan.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this artistic play at the venue (2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest). What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. Classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides (4 guitars in total) ❤ Various elements were mixed and sublimed into one beauty by means of something like alchemy. The actual applause at the end of the song was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video.
At this point, them Babymetal ladies are well-oiled machines..or androids. Remember they used to master these choreographed productions over the course of the week, perform it to a live audience of 20-50K on a Saturday and Sunday, then go home to finish their assignments, which they must hand in first thing on Monday morning. 😆🤩😂
