Episode 148 The car is finished as far as the owner would like it, so we put it on a homemade cart and shipped it back. With the build starting in August 2022 there are quite a few videos to watch to follow this build. In this video we capture just a few highlights that happened along the way. When one considers the respect this vintage tin get these days it must be very satisfying to know you have easily extended it's life into the 22nd century!

Yes, it's gone on to its next life. More than likely it will never see inclement weather again. Probably good for another 90+ years!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully we'll start an original 32 Roadster after Christmas that we'll piece together. We have 95% of it here so far, just need a few pieces to kick it off.

I would be sad to, to see it go. after two years it would be part of the family. Let’s hope it doesn’t go back into moth balls and the owner cracks on with the build. You say he has a change of of direction? Looking forwards to the roadsters getting worked on. The camera lady’s and this owners. Thanks Tim.

I’m sure the camera lady has better things to do than chase you around SO at least you could interduce her to use…..!

She's really camera shy. I've tried.

In the long run,,,,Wouldn’t it have been cheaper to buy a Brookville instead of all this metal work plus the surface rust is quite extensive……!

United Pacific sells new 5 windows and it costs about $40-45K Canadian to get one here so no, even with all the labour it was less expensive to do this.

Could you have Planished those shallow dents….!

Many were planished out but the customer only wanted me to go so far. I could have spent a week or so messaging everything perfectly but it would have resulted 40,60,80 more hrs when the plan was always to put a skim of body fill no more than 1/16" to 1/8" thick at it's worst point.

Yes sir, I like your format showing this work in segments and really showing that this is the first steps to bring a car body to the final steps which is the final waxing and cleaning of the body when the car is finished. Without the basics the end result is futile. Hopefully it shows people that this is an involved process and to get to the end is a journey.🥸👍
