Thanks, me too. Downside is right after I bought the set of 4 they went out of stock before I could get a spare. I waited months and finally broke down about 3 weeks ago and purchase a black steel wheel so I could have a fill sized spare for my Michigan trip this weekend.
I’m really trying not to turn into a fanboy, but you’re making it real difficult.😁 The TJ is looking awesome! Really looking forward to the overland videos coming. I think you mentioned your rear bumper/tire carrier/safari rack in a previous video. I’d really like to get your opinion on it, as I’m looking at the same setup for overlanding. Thanks!
Haha thanks man I appreciate it! If I get atleast one fan from this then I won't feel like a complete idiot for spending so much time making the videos. I actually plan on doing a few smaller videos soon including like a complete build video and separate small review videos for things like my bumper. The brand is LoD offroad. It's an American company out of Indiana. Short answer is I like it and would recommend it. I do have some complaints though.
WOW! What a transformation! You have taken that jeep from a level 1 to a level 10 performer. I hope to see some wheelin soon to prove your work. Don't be surprised if there is some adjustments to make. It comes with the nature of the beast.
Love it Wally....you did great job.....1997 Tj here ...watching and planning much the same...mine is a rust bucket...i just did a frame job...Im wondering about your wheel..tire...lift combination...I'll look around to see 👀 if you mention in your other videos....thanks for the info...congrats on a great jeep build😉
Most of my build info is in my video descriptions. Currently I have a metalcloak 3" lift up front and 3.5" in the rear. The tires are 35" mickey Thompson baja boss M/T tires. The wheels are fuel coverts. Thanks for watching!
Looks great man! I just finished the complete set myself last week on my LJ. My rear fender is the bracket only tho, not the wrap around like yours. What size wheel & tires do you have???
IMO, the armored-up look is awesome. It performs even better for the TJs that see more than an occasional dirt road. Some who prefer the lowrider-29" tire-bone-stock look may not get it, though. 😆
@@dillonmendonca2804 now that the jeep project is wrapping up I'll be able to put some more time into the R2 this winter. I've been working on the jeep for like 6 months straight now
@@dillonmendonca2804 I'm 3d printing it slowly lol. I'm going to complete it static first with lights and then go back and do the rest of the electronics later on I think. Or atleast that's the plan. We will see what happens. The jeep and RU-vid kinda ate up all my free hobby time this year
@@TeufelHundenTJ I don't have any. I paid full price. Tell metalcloak you saw my video and that they should give me a discount code for my viewers to use lol.
