ALL HAIL MARIO😅😅😅 That "display" at the end was actually a drum exercise Mario was doing at rehearsal and they decided to tag the end of Remembrance...The album version is just as good as the live version..It's just as tight and as a drummer it took me 3 months to nail that ending 🤘😎🧐✌️

At Poland rock 2018 there was a half a milion people on their show and it was absolutly stunning. You should check it out in Your "of" time to see how great it was.!!! 😉🤘
People don't realize how much variety Gojira has. They have 3 eras, 1st one is Terra incognita/the link (2001-2005), the 2nd one is From mars to sirius/the way of all flesh/l'enfant sauvage (2005-2016) and finally the 3rd, current one consisting of magma/fortitude (2016--2021 and beyond). This was obviously the 1st era. I want to recommend Vacuity from the way of all flesh album, but it HAS to be the live version in 2010. It's infinately better. Btw one could argue that the 2nd era didn't include l'enfant sauvage but I'd say it's closer to TWOAF than magma, so yeah.
Saw them a few months later when they were releasing From Mars to Sirius and presented it on stage, well its probably the best performance I've ever seen in terms of sound/mix, I thought "Sh*t this sounds so much better than the album". Which is amazing considering the technicity of their music.
Thanks for the notice of my comment, and I should have said more - these guys were this good live in 2003, and they’ve only sharpened and honed themselves since. As they’ve matured they’ve allowed themselves more flexibility with melodic stuff (relatively speaking), clean vocals, etc. while always maintaining their signature sound. Lyrically, there are few better.. this song for example - guys in their early 20s grappling with the nature of memory itself.. and the outtro reflects their tension/ambivalence.. steady, then somewhat staccato, then inconsistent and fading into a sort of chaos. Just like human memory.
Lizard Skin, The Heaviest Matter in the Universe, Stranded, Silvera, Amazonia. Keep going. Gojira is not one dimensional. They will continue to surprise you.
