This song was composed by Haruna for her previous band and was never released. Originally with Japanese lyrics, Haruna and Asami finally translated into English for Lovebites. Great reaction for a great song...
0:37 Miho is already on her planet and I cant get enough of her handbangin.. 5:11 Asami owns the crowd, the stage, the song and everything. Amazing girl... 5:26 Midori throwing the pick in the crowd, the crown of her flashing solo.. 5:38 Cmon sister lets serve the desert? This particular performance of Bravehearted is best of the best of Lovebites.
Although I have not seen the Ride for Vengeance live DVD, apart from material lifted from it available on RU-vid, for me Daughters Of The Dawn, is my favourite live DVD. Glad you have another top three Lovebites song. 😀
Let there be light....and there was Light. Let there be guitar and there was Midori and Miyako Let there be drums and there was Haruna. Let there be music and there was Lovebites Let there be a voice and there was Asami Let there be bass and there was ...MIHO Glory to Lovebites 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺 MIHO! MIHO! MIHO! 🤘🐺🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 🔥🔥🔥 🔥
Great reaction friend. Lovebites..They are an expert in produce the good songs. Talent and creative. From what i know, Miyako got composed many song in her keep, till now. It will taken out when the band in need or after all band member produce their own.
I agree with you that little Haruna is something special. It always amazes me that a little 4'-9" lady has the stamina to do what she does for over two hours straight - and she never looks tired. And she's so happy doing it! I think that Miho wrote some songs early on, but Miyako is the main songwriter now. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will straighten me out! :) Even though there are no music videos and they have never done them live yet, you might want to check out "No Time to Hesitate" and "Dystopia Symphony" - two of their most recent songs. Midori was the head song writer on "No Time to Hesitate," and it's an in-your-face head-banger. So good! Miyako is the songwriter for "Dystopia Symphony" and it's her tribute to Beethoven. She even wrote it in the style of a Beethoven composition - with an opening, three movements, and a coda (closing). The first and third movements have a lot of elements from the 3rd movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata." Beethoven often used a lot of dissonance in his second movement, and Miyako did the same thing with face-melting guitar solos. I love both of these songs. Just a suggestion...
When Haruna compose a song... you will got this!! HARUNA! HARUNA! HARUNA! 🤘🤘🐺🐺🤘🤘... My no. 1 LOVEBITES song...but the Japanese version I like the most...
LOVEBITES - Bravehearted lyrics: Throw away all the masks that you wear You're not fooling nobody with cheap imitations Don't take it, your heart can see right through it all Turn and face all the fear that you're hiding from Take what you can and turn everything into your own strength Keep pushing forth, all the way Chained to the fear engraved deep inside Memories that will stay, still haunting Even if there is nobody else You must keep the promise of faith Don't you pity yourself for your weakness Without any sacrifice, you can forget all the prayers It's up to you to be your God Drowning into a sea of hopelessness Underneath all the weight and burden If you want to escape destiny Be prepared to burn through the blazing sun Glory to the brave, deserted you may stand But no matter how arduous, be the victorious Prove that your will's the strongest battle cry Go and raise your sword, the war has just begun There is always a way if you know that your heart is true Nothing can stop your soul from breaking free Don't turn your back, no don't make it pretend Fight through the pain until you've reached the end Though dark and bloody, have no worries There will be redemption Finally when the skies rise over you Triumph will be in your heart shining through Forever guiding the way into the light Silently listening to words of Hell and hate Shatters the armour to sway your fragile heart Still it's the only way, refuse to give it up Keep the focus, and you will notice Everything is almost in your grasp Drowning into a sea of hopelessness Underneath all the weight and burden If you want to escape destiny Be prepared to burn through the blazing sun Glory to the brave, deserted you may stand But no matter how arduous, be the victorious Prove that your will's the strongest battle cry Go and raise your sword, the war has just begun There is always a way if you know that your heart is true Nothing can stop your soul from breaking free Don't turn your back, no don't make it pretend Fight through the pain until you've reached the end Though dark and bloody, have no worries There will be redemption Finally when the skies rise over you Triumph will be in your heart shining through Forever guiding the way into the light If you swear to God, you must see it through The power is in your hands ----- lyrics: haruna (translated with asami) music: haruna arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
miyako is quite a bit more animated at this concert than the later ones. not sure why but it's cool to see. i have this dvd coming from amazon jp on thursday - can't wait. already have five of a kind and heavy metal never dies so this will complete the trilogy. miho steps it up a bit in 'the hammer of wrath ' live. not necessarily a bass solo but some short awesome fills and right after the m+m solos steps up front with asami and takes that bass for a walk. just great
I wish they would edit a complete drum playthrough to one of these thrash songs of theirs. Just to see what the little Princess is really doing through the whole song instead of one second snippets. They've got all the footage through the whole songs. Just needs some editing. The world would love it. Especially this one, because it is her song.
Miho is doing what she is supposed to do in this band, hold down the bottom end (Bring the thunder). With Midori and Miyako on guitar, there's no need for the bass to be upfront. Asterism being a 3 piece it's essential for the bass to fill out the sound and Band-Maid is the same, only having one guitar player.
Bit the other way around: Asterism and Band-Maid have to deal with bassists that are no part of any 'rhythm section', and the rest has to live and work with that, with dynamic, interesting music as a result. Band-Maid actually has about one-and-a-half guitar player, that other half sings. That is how I see it.
@@5Melig As for Band-Maid, everything you hear from Misa, Akane and Miku is what Kanami wants you to hear. Nothing is played in Band-Maid without it either being written or blessed by Kanami.
Killer track 👸HARUNA 🥁⭐🏆...well done. I don't know for sure, but seeing 👸MIYAKO headbanging in her earlier stuff and comments from long-time fans...it could be a persona to counterbalance 👸MIDORI. 🤘🐺🤘
Bravehearted is a good one. I would love to hear more songs from Haruna in the future. Also definitely check out Golden Destination. Miho gets to shine on that track. Pledge of the Saviour would be another good one and I absolutely love the guitars in that. Even by Lovebites standards haha. Lovebites may seem rather guitar-focused at first, but that only worked so well thanks to Haruna and Miho forming such a great rhythm section, going back to their Destrose days. The more you listen to their songs the more you will appreciate what they are doing. On that topic maybe check out Fenixx from Destrose. Both Haruna and Miho appear in the music video.
Yep, I feel exactly the same about A7X, 'Nightmare' is their latest album I listen too, anything after that (apart from the title track from 'The Stage') just doesn't do it for me !
Bravehearted...it is a song from their debut EP. Bravehearted is the only song written by Haruna in the whole Lovebites' catalogue, and it was not going to be a Lovebites song but a Destrose song, Miho and Haruna previous band. She had to leave so the song never published. For that reason, the song appeared sung in japanese in the debut EP. For the album version, it was already in english. Still, it's the only song were we can see Asami singing in japanese, if you want to check the EP track. And yeah Miho and Mao used to write a lot of the music at first, but in the two latest publishings it was mostly Miyako's work. I think Miho doesn't have any song written in the 2021 EP. If you want to see a good bass check Babymetal if you don't know them. The baldman is something else. Akatsuki or Rondo of Nightmare would be my recommendation.
Yea I checked out babymetal back when they came out…and rondo of nightmare is my favorite track from them haha…I use to play that and gimme chocolate to my buddies
they are all so amazing. this track is really great, I believe, it´s the only one, they ever recorded in japanese. and I like the roughness and wildness of their earlier concerts. apropos bassists: don´t forget nemophila´s haraguchi-san. thanks for the great reaction.
There are many who say Misa is a better bass player than Miho. Maybe that's right, technically speaking. However, can this statement only be made from the point of view of playing technique? Not in my opinion. That would be like saying a freestyle motocross rider is better than a Formula 1 racer. Miho is so damn fast, focused and absolutely accurate over a 2 hour heavy metal show. I personally know some good musicians over the years but I don't think any of them could replace Miho at this level in Lovebties... Always be careful with hasty judgments... We fans will never give up hope that MIho will return one day ... Miho Rosanna is our best piece.
I completely agree with you. Miho is Miho. Miho 🤘🐺🔥🔥🔥 Her blistering runs, her awesome compositions, her head banging ....a force to be reckoned with. A slap bassist looks and sounds more prominent and pleasing but it does not make him/her better. End of story. Glory to Lovebites 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
I really like the japanese version of this song. Don't understand it but it sounds good. But of course live is better With Lovebites you will end up with about 10-15 songs in your top three
Song and lyrics written by the cutest drummer in the world Haruna!!! The original version is in Japanese, but they re-recorded it in English for their first album!! Funny you mention Avenged Sevenfold. Midori and Miyako were on a Japanese music show yesterday revealing their top 5 guitarists. Synyster Gates was on Midori's list!! Next week will be Miyako's top5!! Addicted is an awesome song, here is the link if you need it - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FInyqXhlQzA.html 🤘🙂🎸 Are you the Elden Lord yet? Im like 70% into it and it has been amazing so far!!
As others have said, Bravehearted was written by Haruna and is the only Lovebites song credited to Haruna (although it was arranged by Miyako). With this song, you have reacted to two dozen Lovebites songs, which is about half of their catalog. You have reacted to 5 songs written by Mao, who was a keyboardist for a Japanese band called Light Bringer, which broke up shortly before Lovebites formed. These are the only 5 songs written solely by Mao for Lovebites. The songs written by Miho, Asami and Midori are always in collaboration with Mao. Miyako, however, works alone in writing songs, with one notable exception. You have reacted to 6 songs by Miho and Mao, 2 songs by Asami and Mao and 1 song by Midori and Mao. Seven of the songs were written by Miyako and the notable exception was Break the Wall, written by Miho and Miyako. The song Nameless Warrior is credited to the whole band, at least as far as I can determine. There are a lot more Miyako songs for you to discover.
Thanks for more LOVEBITES! For a better understanding of this wonderful song for your own viewing enjoyment I recommend this new upload that has the lyrics embedded in the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MaKtRMiSfMI.html A bit surprised you didn't comment on Midori throwing her pick to the crowd after her solo (5:25 your video) Ever done that yourself? She reaches for the one on her headstock, but must have dropped it because you can see her go to her mic-stand to grab another before running over to play the harmony-duet with Miyako. This song, the closer on their first ever EP, the closer on their first full CD, "Awakening From Abyss" and the main-set or encore finále in many of their shows for the first years performances, shows the JOY they share, and the performance from "Awake Again" has Haruna "breaking the forth-wall" several times with smiles and a wink! "MVP of this track" "awesome drummer!" Haruna !
Haha naw I havent never thrown my pick to a crowd…one the picks I use are so hard for me to find that I gotta hold onto em as much as possible and so far the biggest crowd Ive played too might have been like 150 people
@@rockdariff @Here is the link to Midori & Miyako on Marty Friedman's Japanese show talking about Midori's favorite guitarists. It's 'part 1' and Miyako's favs will be 'part 2' I expect. Great to see them 'out' together and promoting LOVEBITES !! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MMEXCq6v_5A.html I really enjoyed your 'reaction' to "Bravehearted", thanks! and thanks for interacting with commenters! Wolf-Pack LOVES IT!
I did a name change but thank you for getting to this song. Im glad this is in your top 3 because its in my top 5 mabye top 3 as well. Haruna is the MVP for this song because Bravehearted is her song. This song is the only song Haruna wrote and she wrote it before Lovebites was formed. The song is pure magic and musical perfection Addicted is another great one you should enjoy. If you need link i have it on my channel along with other Lovebites stuff ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ogPFDj5ub4U.html
Have you heard the new Michael Romeo album yet? If not. You NEED to. As usual, the maestro delivers another masterpiece. Check out this amazing track: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QoEyZndpB3A.html
Good reaction as usual! You should check out Trident, their bassist Serina is awesome!! A really new band I just discovered is Hagane and they have two bad ass guitarists, both are all-female Japanese, Trident is hard rock and Hagane is metal, maybe power metal, not sure.
