ride is very hard to understand and the vocals are definitely make or break for people, but once it clicks it clicks hard. I'd recommend something like streaky or eh for beginners. Most dg lyrics are very cryptic and impossible to fully comprehend just by reading them, but this one is comparatively straight forward. It's about apathy towards life, ride says that he doesn't feel any attachment to life and in his world view, if it wasn't for the pain it would cause to his loved ones, he'd end his own on general principle. Basically, superficial material rewards aren't enough for him to outweigh the negatives. The video reflects that as it's the band just sitting in front of a speaker playing this loud and emotional song they made and it doesn't face them at all.
"Manners" has a beat that just gets hold of you and won't let go. I've seen them three times and in two of the three "Manners" was on the playlist. The best part is that pretty much everyone at the show knows when Miku's signature "ha-ha-ha-ha" and "yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah" is coming and the entire crowd sings along. It's just thrilling. "Black Hole" is just an assault on the senses, which the ladies are expert at, loo. From what I've seen in comments, Kanami asked Akane what her fastest bpm's were, and Akane said 190 bpm. Kanami said I'm writing a song at 220 bpm, so deal with it, lol. And as you can see, she more than dealt with it. Give the lady another stalk of bananas after that performance.
Only know this from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, some cowboy in the background says "they shot her in a parking lot and harvested her adrenaline gland, looking for adrenochrome..." or something like that.

That instrument was a vibraslap, it makes the rattle sound in Rattlesnake, it's just super distorted here. The next two tracks should be done together, Pipe-Dream is sorta just an outro for Crying. You could probably do the last two tracks in one video as well, the final track is only 26 seconds long.
From the thumbnail I thought you were gonna _hate_ this song, glad you liked it! It's one of my personal favorite King Gizz tracks, but I do have a higher tolerance for repetition. For example, I really like the song "Everyday is The Worst Day of My Life" by The Lemon Twigs, and every single line in that song is just the title, and I barely even notice half the time I listen to it. And Murder of The Universe is one of my favorite albums, though I do agree that some of the narration (and just vocals in general overpowers the music. Anyways, the next two tracks, Crying and Pipe-Dream are both Cookie songs and you should do them in the same video!

I rarely bring this up but King Gizzard is a "Psychedelic" band. Some people forget that. Others like me drop acid and listen to music every weekend for 8-10 hours. Hot wax is an LSD song through and through. Bro same. When I first heard of them it was the flying banana album. And they had just dropped MOTU album. Been a heavy gizz fan ever since. Any new artist that has come out in the last 3 years you'd recommend?
@@lovablemonty nope 😂 Can't find anything remotely like Gizz. I've been jamming Viagra Boys and Billy Strings new record which is epic psychedelic bluegrass.

A handful of the songs from Oddments were done live on the most recent tour. Stressin , It's Got Old , Work This Time , Hot Wax , and a brief version of Vegemite at The Gorge when the barrier was broken and that was getting figured out. I would check em out , it does the songs more justice.
You know Band-Maid and their music. The Warning are a generally a classic/hard rock trio from Mexico. So their music is not quite the same hence the song is a bit of a mix, but written by Kanami.
I truly don’t think any of the live recordings do them any justice at all. It’s muddy and grinding sounding. The studio albums do way more justice to their legendary musi. And on the flip side seeing them live 4 times in person the osees are beyond better live than their studio recordings. Like twice as good l. These live albums are trash imo. Really disappointed with their live albums that you keep reacting to their live sets. React to their studio albums please! Not a music video. Not a live recording. Just the music. No distractions and you’ll get why everyone says they are truly face melting. Then please watch them live in person.
Thanks for reacting and glad you liked it! The reason it reminds you of Clown Core is because allegedly Louis also plays there with saxophonist Sam Gendel. You can hear them both on some other Knower tracks like "Overtime" and "The Abyss". Definitely worth checking out!
