Ren dropped a video on YT 2 weeks ago explaining in detail the whole Kujo situation. That´ll explain everything what you just saw. And as a musician yourself you will also understand.
On "Hi Ren" the pendulum swung to "hope", he preached hope at the end. This is NOT like " Hi Ren" because there is NO hope to fix this situation. Ren bent over backwards to try and the greedy prick spit in Ren's face. So Ren aired it out and gave Kujobeats career a death blow.
Ren made the instrumental, he has a second channel RenMakesStuff where he shared just the instrumental (also available on Bandcamp), definitely worth a listen. 🔥
To make a long story super short: kujo and his gf tried to extort ren. I highly suggest watching the video ren put out before this one that explains everything with receipts ❤
It's a personal matter between the guy who Ren bought the beat from (Kujo), Kujo's gf, and Ren which resulted in a fraudulent copyright strike, and his prize song "Sick Boi" being removed from all platforms. There is a video where Ren explains all. Basically - the guy tried to screw Ren ... and he ain't a happy puppy!
It was not a personal matter, it's a business matter. Kujo sold a stolen sample to Ren, who bought it in good faith. The owners of the sample are now hunting Kujo for money and he tries to squeeze more money out of Ren even though Ren bought an unlimited license of Kujo's beat (with the stolen sample in it).
Kujo issued a takedown of "Sick Boi" the song Ren had used his beat and the stolen sample in. And said "I'm not going to release the song until you pay me money" and he kept wanting more and more money.
Kujo's girlfriend got involved and started spreading lies about Ren and wrote false claims about the contract (of the beat) and also threatened with violence. Ren offered SO MANY peaceful and fair solutions (even offered to make a song from scratch with Kujo, which would have made him even more money and gotten him a big fanbase) but Kujo declined and would not give up.
@@Irmelinis I would say the GF made it personal when she threatened Ren, putting LOL behind it to soften the blow doesn't make it any less. Telling Ren his music sucks sounds personal as well.
Ren purchased an unlimited use license from a producer named Kujo Beats (hence the play on words of Kujo Beat Down) for some beats he used in Sick Boi. Apparently Kujo didn't own the rights to the Bulgarian choir sample, however, that was embedded in the beats Ren purchased. The owners of the choir sample went after Kujo for royalties and publishing rights. Then Kujo tried to get Ren to pay for the stolen sample even though Ren had bought the rights in good faith. Ren attempted to work things out amicably, even offering to make a new song with Kujo where they would split the credits and the profits 50/50. Kujo not only turned down Ren's offer, he somehow was able to issue a copyright strike on Sick Boi even though Kujo didn't own the sample rights legally. Ren then took down Sick Boi from all streaming services and announced he would make a new version of Sick Boi without the stolen sample. RU-vid eventually removed the strike and Ren reissued the original version. The reason the girlfriend was included in the video is because she initially tried to "play nice" and flatter Ren, but then threatened to break Ren's legs when he didn't cooperate with Kujo's greedy demands. Ren put out a 30 minute video explaining the whole situation in great detail, including screenshots of messages he had sent and received from both Kujo and his girlfriend. Ren eventually got fed up, and Kujo Beat Down was born lol.

Heads up that Ren is going to be putting out a video/song that is the Yin if you consider Kujo Beat Down the Yang and it's about his sister, should be out sometime soon. he said he's going to be releasing music fast and furious soon from the new project, Slaughterhouse, which is a lot more in your lane as far as guitars/rock/punk/grunge/ whatever other genres Ren wants to jam into 1 song, etc. So I guess we will see soon! Hi! You don't have to be smart to know what's happening. Ren released the reason for this song. But even without knowing the context, you nailed the vibe. Kujo is a man- but your connection of Kujo and an evil, rabies infected DOG is ironic and ON POINT.

I saw someone else on another reactor's comments say it made them think of a Roman "extending an olive branch" Not that there's a "pose" for that, I believe... but Josh is looking "classical" there and reaching his arm out for the take to be registered (or whatever it's called that hes doing). No clue what he's wearing but it seems "odd" for normal clothing and has the possible appearance of a toga with a blue sash over it?

Great reaction to a song where you had no clue going in what this was all about . I mean , I’m with you….. it was intense AF . Ren was plain spazzing haha . On top of what has already been said I’ll add a couple more points in case it was missed - Kujo worked with a stolen sample and then sold the beat to Ren Kujo looks for publishing share which Ren agrees to . Kujo then says nah, I want 100% of the song unless I get 15% royalties retroactively and forever . (For a sample he stole) then threatens to take the song down and issues a copyright strike against Ren. All as leverage . Ren says , let’s work together on a song and split it 50/50 . Your name will be on the map. Kujo says no . Ren removes the song himself as he doesn’t want his own song used as leverage against him. FYI, he says if he EVER hears another comment then there’s a part two. Ren has made it clear that he does not want it to get to part two that he hopes they can sort this out amicably Cheers 🍻🇨🇦

His girlfriend decided to mouth off and in classic rap battle mode, she's fair game as well. As mentioned below, there's a 30 minute video of Ren bringing the receipts and the conversations with Kujo and his girlfriend. They threatened Ren, Ren tried to work with them, including offering Kujo a 50/50 split on a joint venture which Kujo turned down. Kujo wanted a bag and got caught up in the Money Game. If you haven't reacted to Money Game Part 3, you will LOVE the artistic theatricality of it.
