Choerry's duality is no joke. Choerry best girl. She's like a bridge between 1/3 on earth and OEC on middle earth. Both in the song itself, as you noticed, as well as in the lore. . LOONAVERSE SPOILER . . . When you watch the OEC teasers you'll see jinsoul is the one who placed the cherry on top of that piece of cake on Choerry's bed. At the beginning of the MV she's with Haseul and Yeojin, so she must be on earth right? But as soon as she eats the cherry, the beat drops and she wakes up upside down in a different place, where Kim Lip quickly appears and where all those mirrors are. So if Kim Lip is there, it must be the middle earth right? Also, Jinsoul is the one who appeared in Vivi's everyday I need you, the remix of her title track, as the rapper.
Kiku Jujingyi LOONA is universe within itself and within the girls they can transport through these dimensions and see the other girls but it’s a whole story in itself again lol
If you notice when she bites the cherry that’s when the beat switches as well! It’s also when the worlds flipped and she went traveled from earth into the middle word!
It also happens before Singing in the Rain and Love Cherry Motion! At 37:22 we see JinSoul wearing the same outfit and carrying the blue beta fish she has at the beginning of Singing in the Rain 12:47, and Choerry is wearing the same outfit 38:37 that she starts Love Cherry Motion in 20:45!

Regarding the reasons why you might unexpectedly enjoy some of the songs, I have a couple theories. I listened almost exclusively to punk rock, ska, power metal and 70's and 80's metal until I fell into the kpop rabbit hole two years ago despite being in my 30's. I now listen almost only to kpop. Here are some of the reasons why I believe I enjoy kpop and why you might too since we have similar musical taste background. 1-The energy of the songs. Kpop songs are often high energy with plenty of changeups, like the classic 2nd verse rap and the use of many singers with different voice tones in the groups. In a way, it is similar to high energy rock and metal songs with the guitar riffs and solos that keep the listener engaged. 2-(not related to loving rock/metal but another theory) Not understanding korean. I rarely watch videos with subs on, but even when I do, I don't get turned off by the lyrics, while Western pop lyrics sometime will turn me off because of their content. I enjoy kpop songs more for their energy, catchiness, the voices and the choreos, and less for their lyrics and their meaning. I would be curious to hear others theories!
even if all of loona have respective animals colours and fruits, each unit focuses more on one of the three! 1/3 focuses on their animals, oec focuses more on their colours, and yyxy focuses more on their fruits!!
In Love Cherry Motion, Yeojin and HaSeul were the ones before the first drop and stuff, while Kim Lip and Jinsoul were the ones who danced with her in the "imagine" parts
I also did not notice Kim lip and choerry animals at first (owl and fruit bat)... and like the animals stickers on the map that choerry is carrying around with her... 🤯 I dive into loona but I never ever understood completely and I’m always wanting more, so yeah: I am now a crazy theory woman
in girl front, towards the end of the video you can see a glimpse of hyunjin (shes in loona 1/3 her solo was "around you"), choerry and hyunjin are suppose to be twins so im thinking maybe shes the girl choerry keeps following to find her odd eye members. [im a huge fan of loona but haven't gotten into the lore so i'm taking the journey of getting into it with goran and honan :), people who know whats going on pls feel free to correct me or evaluate what im saying :) ]
Also Hyunjins colour is yellow and Choerry’s colour is purple - complementary colours and yellow, blue and red are the three primary colours also further tying Hyunjin to Odd Eye Circle, the use of colour theory in Loona’s lore is so cool
in love cherry motion, the members that feature at the start (during the boardgames/pool party sequence) are Haseul and Yeojin, (you watched their solos last episode). when Choerry warps into that alternate dimension you see Kim Lip and Jinsoul. You also glimpse Jinsoul after Choerry wakes up after the first beat drop, she's the figure Choerry sees in the distance who's leading her to the field.
@@Gusmcarthur and yeojin and haseul are the girls in the beginning, demonstrating that choerry came from the human world but was taken away by Jinsoul and Kim Lip into -odd eye circle's- realm.

SITR - a popular fan theory suggests that all those fish tanks are parallel worlds. love cherry motion - there's a small wooden wall clock in the room. after choerry ate the first cherry, she's in a different place and the clock is upside down. TAKE NOTE OF THE 12 ROUND MIRRORS ON THE GRASS. girl front - the kim lip stalker shot again.(last shot in eclipse) choerry's holding a map with animal stickers. she found a ferris wheel with yellow support beam. then she put a cat sticker on one of the circles. WHICH MEMBER HAS YELLOW AS REPRESENTATIVE COLOR? WHICH MEMBER HAS CAT AS REPRESENTATIVE ANIMAL? WHY A FERRIS WHEEL? HINT: RE-WATCH 'AROUND YOU' AND 'SONATINE' choerry is flashed with a mirror. by another choerry. she couls be from the future or from a parallel universe. we're not so sure either. LOOK AT THE 12 ROUND MIRRORS ON THE GRASS. THEN LOOK AT THE CIRCLES IN CHOERRY'S MAP. every time jinsoul turns around, she's in a different location. kim lip has superhuman speed jinsoul has teleportation. choerry -??? at the end of the video, it is revealed that another kim lip is the one stalking kim lip. CONCLUSION: they're in a groundhog day situation. i am part of the loona tinfoil hat party. i have all the answers vro

Loona is such an intricate group. I love studying the lore and making theory’s. In loona you have to pay attention to everything. Even the choreo’s have hidden messages and the all tell a story too. The loonaverse has so many details to pay attention to and you guys are doing really well picking up the details. Thank you for deep diving and taking the time to rewatch and really analyze the loonaverse.

Pretty random but one of the background dancers for “Love Cherry Motion”(and a few other songs) debuted in her own group called “Limesoda”(they have a very strange history tbh) and her debut song with them is “Wave” and it’s a pretty cool song to check out!!
On Vivi's solo album, the other track is called Everyday I Need You (its a slower version of every day i love you) and Jinsoul raps on it instead of Haseul :)
In girl front you can see choerry throwing paper planes that she also receives herself, which symbolizes how they are in a mobius strip. And also i think it shows how OEC is able to do some time travel above the ability to move between the dimensions! Oh and you gotta watch chaotic, because it blurs the line between them and the other units even more!
I feel like maybe it wasn't such a good idea for your friend (Lily?)to add in if the song would be your taste or not in their description. It gives you both certain expectations beforehand. Same thing with knowing the genre beforehand.
I'm loving that you guys are making the Loonaverse trajectory, but I am a little (I can't find an exact word for it) sad (?) that you are not reacting with the teasers, they have so much to add to the lore. Just like the video descriptions. :( Anyway, I'm loving it, hugs from Brazil.
You still missed Loona 1/3 - Sonatine, which *isn't* a B-side. It was their second A-side, released about two months after Love & Live. :) It was promoted on music shows and all and is a legit A-track anyways!
Other members in Love Cherry Motion: Haseul and Yeojin were featured in the first half of the video (you’ll notice that they are wearing Kim Lip & Jinsoul’s colors!). After the first drop, Kim Lip is featured in a white gown, shining a mirror in Cheorry’s eyes (calling back to Cheorry shining the mirror in Haseul’s eyes at the beginning of the video, and foreshadowing girl front, when OEC is searching for the other members of loona!) During the second drop, Kim Lip & Jinsoul, the other members of OEC join Cheorry in the world between Earth & Eden!

Wish I remembered which video it was, but she distinctly said it's not 'Cherry', it's XXX - something indistinguishable to my ear as being different than Cherry. it’s more pronounced like “chwerry.” choerry’s birth/real name is choi yerim. but in korea choi isn’t pronounced “choy” but more like “cheh/chweh” hope this helps!
in choerry´s video first u see haseul and yeojin, members from the first subunit, then, in the beatdrop, u can see kim lip and jinsoul (oec members). Getting deeper into the lore, the oec girls are running because they are trying to find each other, the three of them have powers, which we see develop in their videos (kim lip through dancing, u see the moment she gets her powers as the video starts turning more red and she seems more confident; jinsoul in the water, there´s that scene where shes like floating in the middle of a black screen, im not sure but ithink that´s the important moment when her powers manifest, also when she leaves the fish in the tank; choerry starts discovering her powers when she eats the cherry, in the beatdrops). Since Choerry is the last girl, the first two are trying to find her, u can see kim lip reflecting light in a mirror when Choerry first gets to the alternative universe (spoiler). If u want to get to know the loonaverse deeper u should check the mobius strip theory, which says loona 1/3 is on earth, loona yyxy in Eden, and oec in the middle, trying to get all the girls together. U can see how oec is in the middle because members from the first subunit are in the video with choerry, as well as members from oec, meaning she can travel to both places. The loonaverse is a lot, but really really interesting, i hope u enjoy it!
u can also see the oec girls discovering their powers and trying to find each other in both their mvs. jinsoul has the ability to teletransport, kim lip has super speed, and choerry can travel between dimensions
I hope they pay more attention next episode, yyxy's MVs have so many little details, and especially for Gowon, her song is so quiet, you have to really listen, can't be talking over it all the time...
Yup! Each member has a color and animal, but the girls of each subunit are focused on a single characteristic. 1/3 girls are focused on their animals, OEC girls are focused on their colors, and YYXY girls are focused on their fruits, because they are placed in the garden of eden.
Funny how you didn't notice Kim Lip and JinSoul in the Love Cherry Motion music video. Actually the three moons were like an Odd Eye Circle easter egg.
