METALHEAD REACTS| MARIANAS TRENCH - ALIBI (BEAUTIFUL) 

Marianas Trench has a good range of music from Say Anything on this same album to something like Here's to All the Zeros. I'd vote anything from Masterpiece Theater next, that entire album is awesome, and the last track Masterpiece Theatre III is an epic finale.

This is a song about Josh’s struggles with depression, bulimia & his heroin addiction as a teen. A lot of the songs on Fix Me (the bands 1st album, which this is from) are very much about that struggle. If you care, there’s a prototype of the bridge from this song on another track he recorded as a teen called Don’t Touch Me, which you can find on my channel as it was just found back in November after being lost for 18 years!

As a Canadian we pronounce the band as Mary-Anna's Trench. Anna with a harder A sound like Anne, not a softer A sound that is more like ONNA.....Either way Josh is amazing song writer, hell he helped write and produced Call my Maybe!!!! If you want something fun by them check out Pop 101 or Here's to the Zero. They are dynamic in their sound, but these songs like Alibi are from my high school days and I adore them to this day.
