I point out that Pooh doesn't have a lead singer! They're a bit like the Beatles, they sing with 4 voices, and each of them has their own "repertoire" if we want to define it that way. Although most of the songs of the 70s were written and performed by the keyboard player (Roby), since the 80s the others have also collaborated in writing the lyrics (Red, Dodi & Stefano), often writing the songs together, such as Lettera Da Berlin Est, written by Red and Roby. Their voices have always alternated on records and live and blend into an excellent vocal mix and choirs!
They were 5 back then, before Riccardo Fogli left (another fabulous singer, here he is the guitarist overdubbing Dodi Battaglia, he also had a great solo production) 😉
My favorite Italian band! They wrote the history of Italian music, and you should listen to them live! After 57 years of career they are still on tour (I saw them last summer at the Olympic stadium in Rome) and they are still very good! This is the second lineup, the third and definitive one arrives in 1973 when the bass player is replaced and their progressive phase begins. In Italy they are considered the Italian Pink Floyd for the style of music they made from 1973 until 1980! Their career can be defined in Phases or Eras: 60s Beat, 1970/1972 Italian pop, from 1973 to 1980 progressive, from 1981 to 1985 pop-rock, from 1986 to 1992 80s/symphonic style and from 1994 to today a mix of genres. I recommend you listen to the live performances of some of their most successful songs including instrumentals and suites! Parsifal (Part 1 and Part 2), Lindbergh, Inca, L'ultima Notte Di Caccia e Viva!, Io e te per altri giorni, La gabbia (live), Rotolando Respirando (live), Il tempo una donna la città, and others which are their warhorses such as Piccola Katy, Chi fermerà la musica, Dammi solo un minuto, Stai con me, Uomini soli (with whom they attended Sanremo in 1990), Conterò per te, Noi due nel mondo e nell'anima and Pensiero (live)
@@nathandrake8451 Hello there, He has reacted to "Parsifal", "l'aquila e il falco", "la casa del sole", and "tutto alle tre' ! Vids are here on YT go check them out! 😗👌💫🎉✨
The title of the song is "TANTA VOGLIA di LEI" : I'm sorry to wake you maybe I won't be a man but suddenly I know I have to leave you I'll be leaving in a minute. And you don't say a word you're smaller than ever in silence you will bite the sheets I know you won't forgive... I'm sorry I have to go my place is there my love could wake up who will heat it... Strange friend of an evening, I will thank your unknown and sincere skin but there's a lot in my mind, so much desire for her... She moves and his hand sweetly seek me and in his sleep he is slowly embracing her man who isn't there I'm sorry I have to go my place is there my love could wake up who will heat it... There is so much desire for her in my mind I close my eyes for just a moment your door is already closed I understood what was important my place is just there. I close my eyes for just a moment your door is already closed I understood what was important my place is just there.
If you noticed there aren't even microphones! Here they are playing for TV, once upon a time it was difficult for them to sing live on television broadcasts! But I assure you that if you listen to it in a video of one of their concerts it will be performed just as well if not better! 😅
A huge hit, not just among the band's songs, but all Italians songs. This is the studio version. It's almost impossible to find a live version from that time (almost all TV perfomances were playback , and Pooh's concerts weren't recorded and published back then). I only found this live performance from the Cantagiro song contest, but it's unfortunately cut: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QuOshqFfzZY.html
With Pooh, being a 58 years old band, it would be epic to compare old performances with new ones, what do you think? This song, for example, is much more aggressive today in live concerts, since it is played in stadiums. Hope this is an interesting piece of advice!
The strong desire for her I'm sorry to wake you up maybe i won't be a man but suddenly i know i have to leave you i will go in a moment. And you don't say a word you're smaller than anytime before you'll byte the sheets quietly I know you won't forgive me. I'm sorry i have to go my place is there my love might wake up who will warm her up. Strange lover of a one night stand i'll thank your unknown and sincere skin but in my mind, there is a strong, strong desire for her. She moves and her hand searches for me gently and in her sleep she hugs slowly her man that isn't actually there. I am sorry i have to go my place is there my love might wake up who will warm her up. ...in my mind there is the strong, strong desire for her I close my eyes for just a minute your door is already closed i've understood what was important my place is only there.
Mad Ang, please. Listen , please, the song of the italian band 'POOH' : " UOMINI SOLI" or " CHI FERMERÀ LA MUSICA" . Great italian band! Great their songs. DODY BATTAGLIA of this band is the best Italian Guitarist !
