My understanding, from other YT comments, is that the singer is actually a man, not the actress for the video. God, I love this song and all the hopeful/sad emotions it dredges up.
Was excited waiting for this haha, had notifications on. The title is an acronym for lyrics of the song; " If This Is It, If This Is All There Is, I Hope You Live, I Hope You Live". You reacted exactly how I did lol, glad you enjoyed it too :) I did say metal, but I believe they label themselves as Post Modern Rock, so that was my mistake. I hope this becomes the To The Hellfire of post-rock and everyone and their mom reacts to it. I get goosebumps every time I see her realize she can't trust her eyes. She's an incredible actress, and she made me feel everything she's going through.

Others already said that but it's Scott singing here, not the actress. I thought that too when I first saw the video but no it's a guy 😊 he's got a beautiful voice. And this song is one of the best songs ever written imho, and I've been listening to music since birth so I know it quite a bit 😂 Great reaction man!

So as others have mentioned she's not singing, she's an actress and it's a man signing. This track 10 on a concept album where each track bleeds into the next, it's the only track with vocals and all other tracks are just numbered. They have new music coming soon, but if you haven't already then I would definitely say you should listen to the whole album :)
