+BurnBabyBurn! You'd think so, wouldn't you? But people will still piss, moan, complain and hate on it, because it didn't come out in the 80's. Personally, I'm with ya though, Death Magnetic is a freakin' masterpiece and will be very hard to top.
@xurxo12
@xurxo12 9 лет назад
+Beer nMetal it's a very cool album, no doubt about it. if they keep the level close to it, it will be a success. won't be easy, but I'm convinced they still got the talent within them to top it. and you know, haters will hate, no matter what they release; so nevermind.
@AlienFrequency
@AlienFrequency 9 лет назад
They definitely have the talent and skill to match, or top it. James and Lars are masters with arrangement, song writing, etc. I will say, I don't think Lords of Summer is up to par with anything on Death Magnetic, and that song 'may' be on the new album. I don't dislike it, I just don't LOVE it. For all we know, it may just be a demo.
@xurxo12
@xurxo12 9 лет назад
+Beer nMetal I like LOS to be honest. I guess they just took some riffs they got back then and make a song just for the summer gigs. maybe they will take just the very best riffs off it and add them on parts of other new songs where they fit good. they did that in the past, and worked pretty fine.
@AlienFrequency
@AlienFrequency 9 лет назад
BurnBabyBurn! The version of LOS on iTunes says it's the "first pass version", so yeah, I'm guessing it's not done.. too early to judge. Listening to it as I type this, and I'm liking it more. I think it's growing on me.

datb double bass at 13:09 and James saying 'Luck runs out' twice and hitting 'out' very low. My reason, why they started playing King Nothing is because of its passage, where James is saying:"I wish i may, i wish i might, have this wish i wish tonight,..." and it has something to do with the new album stuff (som low wocals). Just thinking about it.

+FearLess3431 he never had vocal surgery, he just trained after he lost it during the recording of the black album
@Inspire_Orbit
@Inspire_Orbit 9 лет назад
Stig Tveen Borup how he lost it during the black album or so what ?? Because his voice remained same until 1997 then it changed. For example: Fuel For Fire released in 1995 and Fuel released in 1997. Listen carefully both songs and then tell me the difference. I researched every James Hetfield voice.
@Inspire_Orbit
@Inspire_Orbit 9 лет назад
But Black Album voice was not really James' voice so it kinda ruined whole scream-thingy voice. Bob "Cock" was forcing him to do heavy metal voice instead of his old voice which can fit very well with vocal tuners. He only used his old voice in 1996 with "King Nothing" after all years then it's gone. It's dead right now , it sounds like growling leon.

Luck. Runs. Out Crawl from the wreckage one more time Horrific memory twists the mind Dark, rugged, cold and hard to turn Path of destruction, feel it burn Still life, incarnation Still life, infamy Hallucination Heresy Still you run, what's to come? What's to be? Cause we hunt you down without mercy Hunt you down all nightmare long Feel us breathe upon your face Feel us shift, every move we trace Hunt you down without mercy Hunt you down all nightmare long, yeah Luck runs out You crawl back in But your luck runs out One, two Luck. Runs. Out The light that is not light is here To flush you out with your own fear You hide, you hide, but will be found Release your grip without a sound Still life, immolation Still life, infamy Hallucination Heresy Still you run, what's to come? What's to be? One, two, three, four Then you crawl back in Into your obsession Never to return This is your confession Hunt you down without mercy Hunt you down all nightmare long Feel us breathe upon your face Feel us shift, every move we trace Hunt you down without mercy Hunt you down all nightmare long, yeah Luck runs out You crawl back in But your luck runs out

They look and sound really good. very cool! The lighting looks like it's off one of Kirk's classic movie posters. Excellent stuff!

That sounded GREAT!!!! Theses guys in Metallica, can't say enough about them. I hope have a qtr of the energy/talent at their age. I haven't really "checked" but is this a half step down? Sounds just a touch heavier.

I have a very strong feeling that Fuel is James's favorite song. It seems like in every video he wants to play Fuel in the tuning room. And he always changes that first words of the song. " Gimme fuel, gimme fire. gimme fuel gimme fire! "

I think he said in an interview that he uses it to pump himself up before a performance
