Yup...legendary. But, to my knowledge, Dave and the boys in Metallica had put to rest their initial dispute long before this tour was even discussed (B-4). I never subscribed to the "who's better" argument anyway because we fans got arguably, the two most legendary Thrash/Speed Metal bands to ever do it instead of just one (although it does make one wonder "what if" had Dave not been kicked to the curb). And, we fickle fans in our glorious dumbass-ery, stupidly took the dispute and ran with it, giving it longevity and turning it into a whole other monster. I really believe that both bands were smart enough not to let it die, and instead, chose to let the whole mess play out. Again, that's just my personal opinion...If true, it was friggin brilliant marketing strategy if you ask me.

Yeah because Dave was the original guitarist & wrote the majority of this album Kill Em All, some off of Ride The Lightning, & Master of Puppets! I'm glad what happened, happened. Because we wouldn't have MegADetH. All things happen for a reason.

Hell yeah dude! That wasn't just simple music history, it WAS history. I salute you. I got to see these bands multiple times back in the day, but not the Big Four tour...and, that's a regret I'll take with me when my turn at takin a dirt-nap comes along.

Yeah because it was mainly Lars & Ron McGovern that wanted Dave gone. James didn't want to get rid of Dave but James didn't like Dave kicking his ass after James assaulted Dave's dog! 😂

Great concert! I have it on Blu-ray! In my humble opinion I think Megadeth performed the best while it was raining HARD! 🤘🏼🤘🏼. Very epic!

I forgot the source about their interview after this concert... It's said Slayer didn't join them (except Dave) because they weren't really into Diamond Head song, instead preferred more metal song like "The Four Horsemen", which likely will spark dispute between Dave Mustaine & Metallica.

To see Mustaine and Hetfield side by side on stage again touched my soul. I saw all of these bands live back in the day. I also got to see Cliff Burton live. He was a true virtuoso. I've been in some epic mosh pit, I think the biggest was at White Zombie/Pantera, outdoor arena in Phoenix. Massive pit. Good times.

I graduated high-school in '83, and got a nice, big, btch-slap across the face when I first heard this stuff (bootleg copy of Kill em All the first day I moved in my dorm room that Fall). It scarred me for life lol...in the best possible way. Being a totally selfish fan, I would've added Overkill, Metal Church, and Testament to this particular bill...being totally selfish lol.

Overkill should've been in that spot instead of Anthrax! Anthrax only had Spread the Disease, Among The Living, State of Euphoria & Persistence of Time that was worth listening to metalwise. Overkill is still thrashing to this day in their 50's!

All metal bands loooove the bulgarian crowd, and we love them back, the only statue of Ronnie James Dio in the world is in Kavarna, Bulgaria, bands just love that energy and the vibe :) its a fact that they came out ALL 4 only in Sofia, they didnt do that anywhere else during that World tour...

Considering the Bush Era of Anthrax, I would say Slayer is my least favorite of the Big 4. I mean, Slayer is awesome; but the other three make music with more substance than just cliché "evil" lyrics. Musically and lyrically; I say they are the weakest. Yet, they are still better than 90% of bands, in general. 🤷‍♂️

Hail to one of the most influencial Metal Bands ever from England : DIAMOND HEAD!.....influenced,as you can see,so many american Bands in their Past.....and damn,they are still producing Records and Touring the World.Saw them Live last time in March 2020 as one of the Openers of SAXON (when do you react to them ????? ),and the whole Hall sung along their Hymn AM I EVIL?....and all the other great Hits like IT'S ELECTRIC,THE PRINCE,HELPLESS......

@@pickamaterina1313 Yeah there are different stories told why they didn't come out. King has also said he wanted them to all perform the 4 Horseman as in the 4 bands being each of the Horsemen. I can see why Metallica wanted something more neutral. If they had done the 4 Horsemen it would have looked like they were making themsleves look more important than the other 3 ,which would ahve defeated the whole idea of unity, but also may have opened up the Mustaine /Metallica wound the finally seemed to have healed. Seeing as Dave wrote the riff and then was booted before recording it on a official album would have been been like having your nose rubbed in it. Good choice to use Diamond head instead.

Little known fact. Suzie Q sounds alot like Maria Brink of In This Moment. Before people get their thongs in a twist, they only had a limited amount of time and space in which to perform, hence the lack of three quarters of Slayer and the condensed version of the song. If they don't like that explanation, too bad .
