I first heard this when they did it and I thought it was pretty cool, but I never knew the why they did this until just now while reading the 72 Seasons interview with James. Now I know the importance of this song after listening to it again and man! The impact of it hit hard for me. I got a little choked up listening to it thinking about what we were all doing during the pandemic and how lost and disconnected a lot of us were. Metallica floored me again with this one. Long Live Metallica! 🤘❤

It's been f.. 4 years, it's incredible. I was working very hard as a doctor during the Covid period and I remembered the times when I was exhausted.

It's kinda amazing that it has been almost 2 and 1/2 years since this was released (2022 over here) I just came back here for the first time this year (literally I just remembered this version some minutes before writting this comment) and I got surprised by how time went by so fast, specially since this one was kinda popular when released

I remember when they first posted this during Metallica Mondays during the shutdown and being sooo excited 😜 I hate seeing some of the critical remarks on here… it was remarkable they did all of the releases of footage they did during that period of time at no charge for fans-with the current intros each week.. And Justice for All was an album like when you're in that unexplainable elevated zone where you find the perfect tone, the perfect riffs, the perfect writing inspiration and the end product is something that will have the same effect on the listener decades later as the day it came out!

I wish Metallica would do an entire album like this from their stuff over the years. I've always had this idea of an entire epic, "Wild West album." They could use songs to tell the story of a gunslinger and only use previous songs ins this style of the an old spaghetti western soundtrack. It may suck, but who knows...in my mind..it could be amazing! The could begin the album with The Ecstasy of Gold.. Come on James, Lars, Kirk, and Rob...this could be cool. Something like this: 1. This proves why Metallica are history makers and icons of metal and their ability to adapt to anything
