I wish I could!! Never had the chance yet... Missed Pantera and B.L.S. and others that don't come here to Charleston S.C. my husband being in dialysis for 10 months now and seeing the heart specialist next week about his AFib off the scale to probably shock his heart back to rhythm and if that don't work next a pacemaker!! Yeah I'm in hell can't travel far right now have to be here so appreciate videos 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘✌️🖤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Both nights of this concert were incredible. They sounded amazing, the crowd was fantastic, and the band seemed truly happy. James smiled so much throughout the show. If anyone thinks these vids are doctored, pay up and go see it for yourself... they are unmatched live.
I was at both shows and I totally agree. I saw them live at S&M2 and you could tell something was off. This is night and day by comparison. I loved both Chicago shows so much.
@@v.turner He does have arthritis in his left hand. It makes things difficult. He doesn't complain or make excuses. Yet, he takes the bashing in stride. What class Kirk has!
@@v.turner he is a very organic player, it sounds like he doesn't practice anything he plays or play anything he practices very hard to do ,he is a real pro
God. Me and my dad went to this concert. It was my first concert ever. I was screaming like a little highschool girl lmao And when they started playing this I about died of excitement.
Took my wife to this show for our 25th wedding anniversary. This was our song for our wedding in August '99 and she had never seen Metallica live before, this absolutely made our day! This will live on in our memories as one of the best.
Hetfields voice is just fucking incredible. How does he still sound so good after all these years? even though prefer the thrash side of Metallica, I appreciate the beauty of this song. Classic.
I was at this show and it was phenomenal. Greatest concert of all time. No other show on Earth compares. Thank you Metallica for everything you do at being so bad ass!
I was there both nights. I dreamt of watching them play since i was 14 and now im 25. I was not disappointed. These guys are so tight in the way they play even after 40 years. This was the most surreal and epic concert ive been to. Rock on metallica !!
My first metal concert ever were the two nights , paid for my dad and I to go, truly was beautiful and I can’t stop thinking of that last weekend of summer being with dad at Metallica , been playing their riffs non stop and learning new ones, truly an amazing time and performance, they opened with creeping death one of my favorite songs ❤️
We were st this show. Loved Kirk's intro to this! Eighth time seeing Metallica, and by a wide margin, the best show yet! The two nights in Chicago were fantastic. They were two completely different experiences. We were in the nose bleeds, but the sound was still amazing. I was in high school when they started, and arguably are even better now som 43 years later! James' voice was incredible, and Lars was spot on. If you get a chance, go see them if they're in your area while you still can... you won't regret it. They're literally living legends! Not one incident of the (what seemed like 80K people) at this show. Just a bunch of fellow metal heads together having a great time! THANK YOU, METALLICA!! 🤘Hats off to the crew for the crew for the fantastic stage/tower set up, but more importantly, the incredible sound! I'm looking forward to your next album/tour.
This song is a timeless classic destined for the musical hall of fame. I'm convinced that musicians 200 years from now will still be inspired to create their own versions of it.
So close, no matter how far Couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are And nothing else matters Never opened myself this way Life is ours, we live it our way All these words, I don't just say And nothing else matters Trust I seek and I find in you Every day for us something new Open mind for a different view And nothing else matters Never cared for what they do Never cared for what they know But I know So close, no matter how far It couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are And nothing else matters Never cared for what they do Never cared for what they know But I know I never opened myself this way Life is ours, we live it our way All these words, I don't just say And nothing else matters Trust I seek and I find in you Every day for us something new Open mind for a different view And nothing else matters Never cared for what they say Never cared for games they play Never cared for what they do Never cared for what they know And I know, yeah, yeah So close, no matter how far Couldn't be much more from the heart Forever trusting who we are No, nothing else matters
This song has carried me through so many tough times lately. I'm dealing with a serious CPTSD episode, every day I have to wake up and choose to live. This song? This song has helped so many times with that choice. And let me tell you, the goosebumps I felt when the first melody kicked in, absolutely incredible. Maybe I should make this my reason to live altogether. I need to go to concerts and see the artists that saved my life so many times, a bucket list of sorts.
I will say I miss when James sat on a stool performing this with an acoustic guitar, then kicking the stool off to the side during the solo! Still great though!
One week away from the snake pit in Edmonton !! This song takes me back to my late teens. When sh*t was really fun yunno? It almost makes my eyes swell up. This band is like a conductor on a time machine train.
I wish they’d go back to the way they used to play this song , bass and drums coming in halfway through. Still awesome !!!!! This is for my dear friend Luke , loves ya !
Have seen them on Friday and Sunday in Minneapolis, I was just next to the stage. For the first time it was freaking awesome. Also can say that Pantera nailed it too, would definitely go for their show too
Love the Chicago shows! I took my 15-year-old son and my birther to celebrate my 50th. This was my son’s first and second concerts; my seventh and eighth 🤘🎸
Esa cancion me pone con los pelos de punta . La canta como siempre la ha cantado y con un sentimiento unico que me emociona hasta el alma!!!! los amo y los amare eternamente
My first concert at 14 was them! By far the best I have ever seen until I took my 17 yr old son to Chicago Aug. 9th 2024. Metallica , you made my young mans dream come true❤ Tears of happiness were shed for sure😊🎉🎉
Cuando escucho nothing else matters tengo los mismos sentimientos desde cuando la escuché por primera vez.....Gracias METALLICA!!! los esperamos!!!❤🇦🇷🖤〽️
I missed your east coast show and I am in full regret. Had a loss in the family but hey life goes on. Hopefully I get to take my dad to see you guys this time. Metallica is music 🎶🎵🎶
Metallica, thank you for this AWESOME playlist of this great tour!! I have been 2 days in munich and i love all of the tour videos. Its SO much fun to listen to it, thank you!
I was in the pit for both of those shows! I can't even word how different of a show it is when the boys are jamming and screaming at you from less than 10 feet away...
I was here. And it was amazing. The amount of people in the city made everything unenjoyable. But the concert. Oh the concert and seeing you guys made it worth my 2 grand
