The double bass in the guitar solo pleases me, not many people seem to realise it's there and I love it when Lars plays it as it adds more energy to the song!

Finally this version! It's like the one in Seattle 89 where Lars starts the double bass a bit before but it sounds so good!

I appreciate that. The live approach beats the studio version hands down for me, and I play it that way. Look up live shit binge n purge 1989 seattle. I can barely listen to Ride the lightning because live versions of this n bells is by far better.

This is my favorite cover of this song anywhere i can find on youtube. What i love about Josh's videos, aside from his playing, that you can hear the kick drum. Every other cover i have seen of this on youtube, you cant hear the kick drum and thats a major part at the end.

I think, I'm really getting close to this stage of my life.. But I 'm not self medicating yet due to the fact, that I have something real worth holding on too and really dreaming about in my life still while no one can criticize me, for it .. You added enough fills and it isn't the simple groove we heard on the album BUT, all of your fills blend so well with the song, it's definitely a pleasure to hear your playing, Lars adds enough fills but, they are hit or miss, however, your fills are spot on and definetely, the ending was superb, as the rest of your cover, your playing has a flow and it is really great to hear it. Congratulations, keep up the good work and of course, i want to mention that your sound kicks ass, well done

I played drums my entire life, and Lars genius is one of a kind. The guy can barwly play his instrument, yet he wrote and produce some of the most perfect drum tracks of all time. And whoever diss him, I will admit, I studied percussion to university master degrees, i can play easily all of Lars songs, in live probably better than him, but no where close in the world I can write those tracks
