Jason is so amazing live. just look at him playing half a feet from the audience. no distance at all with the audience, complete immersion into the music and the atmosphere. i wish he hadnt left
Love this version of Fade. Jason looks like a fan who happened to play with them that night, its great. And probably the best snare sound they ever had
this is how i counter all the "after-91" metallica haters. what band makes sound like the sound here if they sucked? theyve always been, and always will be, killer frickin musicians.
James Hetfield is arguably the greatest metal singer to be born in this millenia. Im an aspiring singer and watching videos of him almost makes me lose hope. i admire this man for all he has done for music and i hope one day i can sing my kind of music as well as him
All the little details and fills Kirk and James put in during the first half of the song on this particular performance is just unbeliveable. So beautiful
If i wasn't 7 years old i would have been there, james voice was soo good then, i saw them in new orleans about a month ago and it just wasn't the same as this, and rob does nothing for the crowd
Jason Newstead was the realest guy on Metallica. Guy just wanted to keep making music, never bitched about who stole music. He was all about fun. Look at him interacting with the crowd.
@MiniHorseRulz yeah i can :) i play guitar we got more sounds comin out of our instrument lol. yeah but i respect the guy i just feel more to jason cause of the music he was involved with during that period he was with them.
@Disposable5 Dude please calm down, what I was trying to say was that, at tthe time to me atleast, it sounded like he was still picking the notes while he was doing that. Probably shouldve worded that better in the first place.
james hetfield....lol, so many things, and funny is one of them, whether he's trying or not, but i found his rocking on the stage build funny as hell, considering this songs about suicide
dunno.... i think his vocals were good right up until he blew his voice... after all, look at moscow in 91 and san diego in 92. they were monstrous there...
