This was the first album of theirs to come after I became a Metallica fan way back when. This song and album take me back to a cherished period of my life. Irreplaceable.

Love their heavy stuff but this is one of my favorites. Great voice. One of my late sister's faves.

One of my favourite albums of Metallica. Such a great album - surprised people can't seem to appreciate it….so strange. how can you not love the music, lyrics, atmosphere, the melodies, double tracking, 2 guitars playing different rhythm, innovative drums. It's such a great sonic album.

actually after all is said and done, I really enjoy these songs. It gives their entire discography so much contrast that you can really find yourself understanding Metallica outside of the thrash context.

If the best of Load and Reload were combined to make a single album you would still have people saying "Metallica has not made a good album since Puppets", but they would be mistaken. Some of the most personal, explorative, and best songs exist on these two records.

This album takes me back. Back to my freshman and sophomore years of college. With my first love. Driving around in that jeep rocking out to Metallica. Didn't even have a tape or cd player in the jeep so we had to use a boombox to listen to music! I know a lot of Metallica fans hate this song and this album, but it gets me in the chest for some reason. And it brought a lot of people to Metallica that hadn't listened to them before. Then they discovered they liked a lot of their older stuff too.

This isn't an insult or anything... I have kind of a sleeping problem and I need music to put me to sleep and this song is always the one to do it! Such a great rhythm and James' voice is just angelic, and the calm sections will do it in a heartbeat. Love this song, Metallica is the BEST!

This song has special meaning for those like me who suffer from severe mental illness. It's hard not to cry just typing this.

This right here is my favorite song! My dad told me stories about when I was 2, he'd drive me around in his Jeep playing this album and every time it got to the heavy parts I'd bang my head. Thanks to him, Metallica is and always will be my favorite band and inspiration! You guys are amazing! I'd love to hear this at your next concert! That'd make my life!
