It's been 3 months since I last experimented with this intro @170 bpm, I was wondering if I could increase the speed by 10 bpm within a few tries. To my big surprise, I could - it seems that practicing other staff improves the dexterity of the hands invisibly.
100% RAW, glitches and mistakes are included.

Here’s a tip for velocity/strength… Watch how “circular” James hand position is when holding his pick, he’s basically doing an O shape like 👌🏼 that, he grabs onto the pick almost by his fingernails… Takes a couple of tries but once you get the hang of it, you’ll find quick downstrokes less tiring…!

Idk if this is on purpose or not, but try not palm muting the notes after the open notes if that makes sense

That will be the second stage of learning. :) It is very difficult for me now not to palm mute a single note and then quickly palm mute the next two, even at this relatively slow speed. But I know that is the way it should be played.

@@vikguitar2813 If you want a good song to practice that with, give Creeping Death a go, the main riff alternates between palm muting and open a lot

@@vikguitar2813Another thing, your picking looks a little bit stiff, try making it more fluid? Maybe a tiny bit of arm movement might help

Looks good! For more speed and endurance try to pick with as little arm possible, try to do it with only your wrist. To get a feel of what movement I mean just flick your wrist around loosely. Keep u the grind, one 50 sub youtuber to another.
