I like how the 2 most emotional solos, and in my opinion, the best solos are by James. The other one being Master of Puppets of course.

yeah i saw a documentary and he this was his song for his girlfriend, and he made the intro while talking on the phone with his girlfriend and with the other hand plucking the open strings

@MrPastellakis Strings will last as long as strings last, depends how much you play, eventually the tone of the strings will change from the new bright sound that you get when you first put them on, so it really depends on what sound you like from your strings and how much you play them. As for how long will they last before snapping... snapping a string could happen anytime so its hard to give an answer as to how long they will last. Best thing would be to maybe try a set out..hope it helps!

The distortion guitar that plays the solo plays three groups of three notes into the last verse (after7-5-7-5 on B) that I see aren't included here. 7-8-5 on B, 7-8 on B, 7 on G, followed by 7-8-12 (hold note) on B. It adds a nice extra something to the song. But good job on the solo none the less.

I wonder does Danny block his tremolo for certain lessons coz he does double/stop bends and they sound in perfect pitch! And as we all know - with locking tremolos if you do that - you can clearly hear them out off tune. That's not the case with him thou..

Everyone knows this solo is by James, he plays it live. Look at the video for the song and you'll see him playing it in the studio. It sounds nothing like kirk - no wah, just emotion, something kirk tends to lack

@XxDIAZ4LIFExX theres no magic in the kind of strings he uses though. You wont suddenly achieve his tone by using his string thickness. Its just a matter of the feel, how easy it is to bend (thinner is easier to bend, but may also feel like youre handling straws instead of strings). If youre thinking tone, think technique, amplifier, guitar (in that order).
