One of the few mashups that actually works and sounds excellent. Me being a Metallica and a Led Zeppelin fan. With Led Zeppelin of course being the greatest rock band of all time!
Ahh yes, Jason Bonham, my favorite member of Zeppelin to also appear in his own horror franchise, if you're thinking of John though I have some bad news...
-PRESENTING- James Plantfield AKA Robert Hetplant on vocals Jimmy Hammett AKA Kirk Page on guitar Jason Paul Jonested or John Nownes on bass ..and my personal favourite, Jars Bonrich AKA Lars Von Bonham on drums, -IN- Metallic Zeppelin - “Ramble On Because Nothing Else Matters” ..or as it’s known in another universe, Led Metallica - “Nothing Else Rambles On” sorry 😐
the pentatonic bluesy vocals of ramble on..fit really well with the harmonic minor key of nothing else matters. Completly changes the mood..very good appreciation of musical harmony from the arranger(name?).
Ok so here it is. I do not like people messing with my beloved Zep. But this took me to a a new plane of existence. It's not easy but sir you just wowed me. Great job!
when I first her to mash up I was in the hospital after having brain surgery to take out a tumor which caused the stroke! my life outlook was dim as I lay in the hospital bed feeling sorry for myself! heard this mash up from my favorite band Zeppelin done with Metallica and that's when I said to myself I must ramble on because nothing else matters except for my loved ones to continue living!
Damn it all! This is 1 of the most unlikely mashups I could imagine.Ramble on and Plant's vocal in Emajor mashed in2 Hammets E minor arpeggio ;sets a dark moody flow 2 the "good times vibe" of Plant's lyrics. What a stunner! And somehow it all works. This is called "virtuoso mixing "and 1 hell of an ear in recognition of pitch!Stem Isus ,Hats off 2 U THE MAN!!!🤓🎼✨🙏🏼✨🎼🇨🇦
The original has like a bright "life on the road" feel and with this guitar track it's like a tragic descent into madness and obsession. At first it sounds maudlin but then you get used to the looseness of the choruses and it kinda becomes unironically epic tbh..
Please do a mashup of AC/DC's Hell's Bells with the vocal from Huey Lewis' The Power of Love. It's nearly perfect match, if you put Huey's voice in a bit lower key. Plus it would be funny.
@Shelley Garman I wouldn't be surprised! James Hetfield and Robert Plant are actually friends in real life. There's a pic of them two hanging out online somewhere.
I ended up here because I was looking for a pink Floyd "goodbye blue sky" and "Metallica one" mashup. They use a similar riff based off the same notes and I always try and fiddle around with mixing them together on guitar
WOW,, this is super cool... however it does something really bazar to my head! A lot of these you do bro is freaky how they seemed like they were originally meant to be. Super crazy! \,,\
“Nothing Else Rambles” by Led Zetalliclin Featuring: James Plant (Vocals) Jimmy Hammet (Guitar) John Jason Newstones (🅱️ass) Jars Bonrich (Drums) Yes, I know that somebody already posted a comment like this, but this is my interpretation of combining the two band’s member’s names.
This is super great! My only negative is that Plant's vocals are just a little too bright in the mix. Soften them up just a little and you have a champion mashup!
Believe it or not, I did an audio channel separation and remix a few years back. It was because I had realized between the two songs, there were some key similarities. The tempo, 4/4 beat, and especially the melody in the chorus. But you'll laff at what it was. Theme to the Pirates of the Caribbean / Theme to Leave it to beaver. But you have good filters. I couldnt filter mine at all, so I just leveled the tempo, tweaked the pitch a bit and mixed them together. There was one problem though. I dont remember exactly what it was, but I think somehow there was two extra bars in the chorus in leave it to beaver. Otherwise they would have blended perfectly.
