Once again tribute to the greatest Cliff Burton. My favourite instrumental song ever! RIP Cliff #cliffemall #orionbass #phantom_bass #orioncliff #ariasb700 #ariasb #orioncover
Nice playing man! Proof positive that you don't need the BnG Elite I or some signature model to get Cliff's tone. And those old batwing models literally can't be beat. You should hang on to that one at all costs!
Now that was beautiful! Really nice playing and sound...did it justice \m/ i wonder what kind of overdrive did you use for regular rhythm sound? Sounded to me pretty tube screamish
Do you really think the original intro can be played the way you heared on the album without multiple tracks and a lesslie speaker? LoL if he played the right set of notes it would sound blurry as hell with that amount of distortion...even rob plays it differently live with them nowdays
Not on Orion and he switched from the fuzz wah to a power wah boost, this cover just either don’t have the right fuzz or don’t have enough gain and fuzz cuz this is boarderline clean
in that little bass solo before the interlude ...you are playing E only 3 times ...you are supposed to play it four times but overall really great cover ...keep it going
🤣 🤣 🤣 cliff used his aria on Master of puppets so no it wasn't just for live and for the money plus his rickenbacker had malfunctions after he modded it. No clue what you are on about.
@@dafxtone his most used bass was his aria, he used it on almost every tour but a few, master of puppets and half of ride the lightning. He wasnt even endorsed by aria until the master of puppets tours after he received his aria black and gold. You need to look this up my guy.
@@Yourd4d I just repeat what flemming said. I think he was there during the recording of these two album. Could you say the same thing ? I think no. Kisses.
@@dafxtone what? Flemming didn't say anything near what you just said, he mentions that the rickenbacker had to be rewired and that Cliff retired his ric and switched to an Aria SB1000 after experimenting with an alembic which got stolen. You're 100% trolling
Yeah, and it personally pisses me off that he used his index finger instead of his middle finger for the 14th fret of the G string. If he would've switched that, the sound would'nt have echoed.
