I love that we are excited for Metallica and I agree that song is great and kicks ass but to say that this is in the list of "best ever" is to make a really long list of probably 20 songs. Im confident there are at least 19 songs better than this one.

Rebel With a Cause it really isn't. Youve probably never listened to zero 80s or early 90s metallica. Every song on Kill em all and Master of puppets is better than spit out the bone. Even all of ride the lightning and some songs from the black album

I have a "special" request, make your kit left handed and play that way, I find once you learn to play left and right handed (like myself) it help soooo much with certain beats and patterns, or if you lead with your left hand on a right handed kit, you can be open to some pretty sick fills. it is hard to learn, going from right to left, but it takes practice, once you figure out "how the heck can I do this" your skills will be better!! by the way, fucking kick ass cover bro!!!

Great job. Remember reading an an interview with the late Randy Castillo, were he described his experience learning Master of Puppets, at the time he was playing with Mötley Crüe. He said, if I recall correctly: "There was a lot learn." Looks like the same deal here. The difference in technique is one thing. Creating this music amongst the other songs is another. Ulrich is a unique drummer and artist(as are the rest of the band, except from the drum part😊). Not being a drummer, I think technically sufficient drummers will acknowledge that. This clip is one testimony to that I think😊

davedollar4 people always seem to put shit on Lars' live drumming, I have seen Metallica 6 times and each concert he has been solid as fuck, yes admittedly he doesn't do every song note for note on the album but he does the job and still represents that double kick and plays some fast shit and nails it. You could grab just about any drummer and make a compilation of them making mistakes and playing shit differently. Now my message wasn't some sort of hate message to you as I see you clearly like Lars as you wouldn't be watching this if you didn't but I'm just throwing it out there. Keep it real brother, peace out.

TripleEightVideos not everybody can handle a full concert during a tour playing all the songs correctly. He just does his best on his live performances. If he plays this good on studio is because he is able to make incredible things and he is not in a 2 hours concert

EPHEMERAL He absolutely does NOT do his best because even he admits he does not practice anymore. One of the few metal musicians to become a millionaire...doesn't practice his own songs to give the best performance for his fans, who spend multiple paychecks just to see Metallica live. Another point is that Metallica's songs are 90% easy. There's no reason for him to skip fills in Black Album songs...but he does. There's no reason for him to skip fills and double bass from songs he JUST WROTE (Moth into Flame) but he does. Most people would get fired for this sort of incompetence.

They have played To Live Is To Die only one time. And this was shitty performance. Trapped Under Ice, The Frayed Ends of Sanity, The Shortest Straw, No Remorse, Phantom Lord, Disposable Heroes, Lepper Mesiah, Fight Fire With Fire - all of these songs they play very rarely

They've played Shortest Straw 92 times live. No Remorse 230, Disposable hero's 151, Lepper Mesiah 109, Fight Fire with Fire 314, Phantom Lord 151. Top-notch cover as ususal, man. Have you considered playing the re-recorded version of Lords of Summer? That song has some interesting double bass I'm pretty sure Lars will definitely skip in live performances (if the play it at all).
